@ Jinx: Convince Igiss.
As he has mentioned a long time ago, he is not a fan of the cargopods and just added them, because of the vanilla trains and transports. I don't know about the reasons he does not like them. Maybe something to do with hardcoding.
allright - these were just examples. - ( the passenger pod is actually a rounded cube with a few windows - took me 30 seconds to make it ) - so for a final version, it will look MUCH more detailed of course. - actually, i just tested them with an uploaded train model and placed the pods in there and checked how the proportions would look like.
about the pods in general. - i ll PM igiss about it.. and if he agrees to at least consider it, - i ll make:
- one containercargopod consisting out of dozens of smaller containers that are bundled together. - that ll support the size of the transports more than sticking one big crate to them.
- one passenger cargopod with 3 levels that will have the feeling like a passenger section, which is useful, but by no means as comfortable as a liner. ( rather like the tourist class )
- one high-security pod for radiating material
- one cargopod with chambers for like - alien organism/nomad samples ( i think of somthing like rows of sleeper cells outside - thats not logical to place this on the outside and unprotected.... but then, its not logical to transport 5000 military vehicles, too - unless they are very small vehicles for very small soldiers for a very small war )
High-security pod? That's, like, made to order for the Freedom's Dream!

Dude, I so want some prisoner pods for The Scool Bus. It would fit the name perfectly!
Some say that he is allergic to a fungus found only between the toes of Corsairs,
and that he is oblivious to 98% of Liberty Law. All we know is... He's called the Busdriver!
