I actually see this as a Bretonian SHF or HF, depending on the size and texturing. Dragons are most noteably present in British mythology, and even in kids books, so I wonder what this would look like with Bretonian textures.
On another note, I always thought the GC would fly something like the Eagle, but less bulky, high powerplant, normal VHF gun slots and no armour. Since the GC are suicidal (read rumours), this would fit the bill for them, but this looks too bulky for GC in my opinion.
I reeeaally love the design. It may not fit FL all to well, but it is one sexy lookin' ship.
I don't really understand making it an SHF. It doesn't really look like it to me. Seems too sleek. Still, it would be cool to have a civvie SHF.
Very nice concept with great potential, especially the bird theme. Just try to model out this bird theme more extrem.
For example: Wider tail feathers and more spreaded wings with feather like details. Change the bridge like cockpit into a transparent fighter cockpit.

Still though, good model:).
I'm learning to make models and after my new cruiser (possibly Zoner, possibly civilian/alien roots) the GC will be the next thing I work on. I'm lazy though, so having someone else make the VHF is fine.:P
