[color=transparent]/indent\Today is a good day for Intrigue Industries. Our all-star team of electrical engineers and physicists has been working around the clock in order to produce the first prototype of our new cloaking technology: the Transparency Emitter.
The Large Transparency Emitter
[color=transparent]/indent\The II Transparency Emitter is superior to other experimental prototypes currently entering the market. Highlighted features include: better resilience in radioactive fields, more efficient use of ship reactor resources, and longer lifetime of operation. Conservatively, we place the II LTE (Large Transparency Emitter) in the top tier of the stealth technology market—it being the state-of-the-art cloaking device. Additionally, we estimate that our improved production methods will result in an affordable price for the consumer. Finally, we have controls on assembly and quality in place up to seventeenth-order redundancy to ensure that the customer does not receive a defective device, and so that the environment surrounding our base in Cortez does not become polluted with debris or radioactive byproducts.
Business Partnership
/indent\We estimate that the demand for our new Transparency Emitter, especially the II LTE, will be enormous. Luckily, we have found confidence in a weathered technology distributor who is more than familiar with the travails and profitability of excessive demand. We have decided to form a tentative business partnership with experimental weapon mogul and equipment salesman, Mr. W.F. Cody. When asked for comment, Mr. Cody himself responded:
"I am very proud to present my first deliverer of this new class of technology. I place my entire faith in Intrigue Industries' Large Transparency Emitter."
Our first sale of this technology will be to Mr. Cody, who hopes to offer demonstrations of our superior device near Norfolk Shipyard.
Technical Information
/indent\The core of our device is created using a proprietary and patented process which uses time-dependent magnetic fields to reorient the neural wiring of silicon-based xenomorphic life forms in an optimal configuration. The device itself operates by inducing extreme voltage spikes at high frequency across this piece of biocircuitry. High density fuel is necessary to provide the high level of electrical power required to maintain this unique current profile. The connecting circuits are manufactured with gold-alloy wiring in order to exploit the high conductivity of elemental gold. We are thus able to obtain an extremely low resistance in the auxiliary circuit, resulting in manageable thermal dissipation. Additionally, the high gold content in the circuitry protects the device from corrosion.
/indent\In order to maintain the delicate current profile of the system over long periods of time, we addressed the challenge of nullifying the influence of external magnetic and electric fields. Therefore, we protect the components of the auxiliary circuit with a layer of our own formulation of Mu-Metal—a cheap nickeled iron alloy which exhibits high magnetic permeability. However, when such conductive material neighbors a current profile such as ours, image currents abound in the material. Our high-energy system requires a way to handle these image currents while not dissipating excessive heat from the device. Thus, the Mu-Metal layer is then coated with a layer of gold substrate, which bears the brunt of these image currents and, as a side benefit, protects the nickeled iron from corrosion.
/indent\Having addressed the complications, we have designed our Transparency Emitter to create a local field of near-perfect transparency (99.76%) by destructively interfering with vessel-emitted EM waves on a considerably large spectrum of wavelengths.
Closing
/indent\ We are confident that the demand for our top-notch device will grow considerably in the next two months. For now, Mr. W.F. Cody is the first customer to soon experience the technological marvels produced by no other company than Intrigue Industries.
