' Wrote:Recently we've had an increase of players acting like utter idiots in Coonecticut, it seems to be the case that folks think that with Conn being a non RP system it's also fine to ignore any sense of common decency. This is no longer the case. Section 8 of the rules will contain the following standards to conn.
Code:
8.1 Connecticut is a non-RP system. Nothing you do there needs to have an RP basis.
8.2 All attacks in connecticut must be preceded by an agreement to such by all parties that will be involved in the combat. This does not have to be an RP agreement, just an agreement to start shooting.
8.3 Bad behaviour in Connecticut will be sanctioned under 1.2. Respect each other in there.
8.4 Offical factions are obliged to balance Connecticut time with RP system time. Your primary duty is to play the RP role you elected to play not to spend all your time in Connecticut.
Bad behaviour is a catch all term for things we find distasteful. Before you whine and complain about this rule set, look around at other users first. This is your baby as much as it is ours.
' Wrote:Transfering equipment and being shot for that is against the rules or not?
Because it is irking me the fact that people use Conn to swap tech easily without any effort.
' Wrote:That's being fixed. You won;t be able to do that soon, if Cannon gets his way.
but as for transferring equipment... q_q
That was so comfortable.
(and no, I have no relation to codename weaponry business. I'm not even flying snubs, at all)
' Wrote:Intercepting equipment dealers or shippers is just so awesome.
Well, I hope that then it won't be possible to go there with unmounted equipment, but still possible to change stuff between your characters while in Conn.
[7:57:26 PM] aerelm: All of those rules were already there but pretty much in an "unwritten" form
[7:57:43 PM] aerelm: cause there've already been a couple of sanctions regarding each of those
[7:57:49 PM] aerelm: good to see them added in the rules
[8:05:14 PM] aerelm: The thing is, transferin equipment is a totally ooRP process 98% of the time. So I don't see why /conn can't be used for that.
[8:05:58 PM] aerelm: I mean, a RM Wraith givin 4 Heimdalls to a RHA Odin would be even considered a 6.10 violation if we decide to go too *ahem* on the rules, and having /conn easily fixes that.
[8:01:27 PM] aerelm: I don't know how they're going to "fix" it tho
[8:02:02 PM] aerelm: cause even if they add a system which checks your unmounted gear like the one which checks your cargo, people can still mount the gear, jump to conn, unmount, transfer, etc etc
[8:02:38 PM] aerelm: so unless they disable the ability to mount/unmount equipment in conn somehow, it'd still be used as a shortcut to transfer gear
Now excuse me for a second while I look for my "PCR Seal of Approval".
