Because it is irking me the fact that people use Conn to swap tech easily without any effort.

Well, transferring equipment in conn is best way to do, as otherwise you usually need to go to ooRP location to move codes/AUs/Caus/cheetahs/missile launchers/minedroppers etc. Or spend an 30 or more mins in free flight after finishing char to get an ID (like Reaver/mando/etc) cause it's in corronado and you're in burgundy/sigma/dublin or such
Only one better solution is: new system, similar to conn, just made for equipment sharing - no damage doable in those. /conn2 or something for such exchanges would be awesome

biskit, pipe down old bean, and listen to the balance of the universe for a second.
if you want people to stay out of conn, you have to provide a deterrent. a gradual nerf of power would provide this.
of course, there is the argument that this might actually make you want to stay in conn and fight, just so you could slay all and sundry with a 95% nerf, cos i know how yr brain is wired
