[M]-Inglorious.Bastard3, [M]-Cockney's.Revenge have been sanctioned for using for putting these ships inside a base so that people cannot shoot the ships. This is an abuse of game mechanics.

These ships have been deleted.

As faction lead I was made aware of the issue just prior to the weekend via Skype PM with Del. [M]-Inglorious.Bastard3 is a factin shared ship, and I had agreed to have it bastilled until the level of sanction was determined, and also so it could be moved to a new account.

I'm rather disappointed that the user, having already been identified, wasn't punished directly by the loss of their own ship rather than the deletion of a shared faction ship.

Is it possible to restore the [M]-Inglorious.Bastard3?


I'm discussing the issue of these players in our high command right now.

Just went for some shield trolling- however I found out a bug by mistake trying not to be hit by platforms.
The Base have holes in its integrity.
It is possible to keep base with shield on only with LF and it is hard to kill it unless you bring other LF in the hole and try to shoot it somehow.

Well I do find this sanction not proper one.
You can see the quote from Base Bug Report topic. I bet that it written not more then 30-40 min after the time of your screens provided by the malicious reporter.
I reported the bug at the moment that I found it and I cooperated with the BAF| people there OORPly as well trying to find out if the ship takes dmg while being in the base hole, I left after the testing were conducted.
I was on IB3, Helo was on the other ship. Check the screens in the quote and the time of the post. I left 5 min after I found the bug, you can ask the BAF| guy on the Destroyer that helped me testing if I get dmg while being in the base.

I would ask to revert the sanction and I would like to see evidence of me abusing something in order to post report for malicious sanction reporting against me and Helo.
I am personally disappointed how low some people of this community can fall only in order to troll people that play the opposite side in game.
People -get real it is game.

This is partly my fault, despite having the conversation I forgot to make note of it, and Govedo's bug report in the thread. There will be a discussion on the matter soon as everyone comments. Apologies for the fubar.

It is important to note that the other player involved did so after your bug report though. The way it looks to me is that you reported it as a bug which your colleague then decided to abuse.

Can I have the said evidence?
Can the Admins clearly define what is meant by bug abuse as well because I still does not get it- bases have 3-4 serious bugs- like the base defence platform bug, base docking with shield on under siege bug, base defence set mode bug, base commodities limit bug, base docking permits bug and may be several not known for me bugs that are abused as well all the time by the whole server.
The interesting part is that only I and Helo get sanctioned even that we found out the bug, tested it and reported it- I haven't used the bug more then 5 min. I doubt that one of us had used the bug after we found it, I also doubt that the timespan between me testing and reporting the bug and Helo testing on its own is more then 1 hour. I logged out after and have no Idea what he did but I doubt that he really abused the bug- in order to abuse this bug you would need to keep the base under siege for at least couple of hours to do any harm, I doubt that a couple minute test burning 100-200 Mox and openly reporting the bug after the test is abuse.
I tested the bug- you can clearly see from the screens or ask BAF| people presented or check the sever logs about my msgs that I OORPly informed them about the bug and asked for help in order to test and reported it after with the idea to help and get it fixed and as reward I am sanctioned and got my ship deleted while the whole server uses this bugs a lot 24/7 and none is sanctioned till now.
I still feel that there is something smelly about that report and sanction and I still want to see the evidence together with the timing of the whole thing.You can feel free to drop it in the topic because I have nothing to hide anyway.
