Looking at the wiki page it seems like pretty nifty light bs. Nice model, adequate firepower... Something that stays on the edge of battle and relies heavily on long range and evasion which i like quite a bit. I would like to ask The Elbe users here or general people here what are their experiences fighting with/alongside/againt the Elbe. Loadouts, to do, to avoid?
I have only used mine a couple of times. The class-9 and 10 hardpoints are a little restricted, and core is kind of light, so its not able to charge in and blow stuff up as easily as some of the others. But it has lots of class-8 and good hull, so its pretty good as an anchor ship, if you can get people to bring a fight to you.
I've encountered from snub/gunboat swarm to masses of Jormugands.
Interesting, may i ask about Elbe's general turret coverage? As in , can the heavy slots fire backwards and where are they located? What are the biggest weakpoints (like the belly of Storta or dirrect behind for Ossie). And, only 1 flak? Is there a slot with so good coverage?

The two heavy slots are on the top of the forward section, one behind the other (you can see their pedestals in the pic). Neither can fire backwards through the ship.
The class-9 turrets are on the top and bottom of the "wing" platforms, on the sides of the ship (you can see one of the pedestals at the top rear of the closest "wing"). Only two can fire broadside (ship blocks the other side), and only two can fire up/down (wings block the top or bottom). This means all four of the turrets can only simultaneously fire directly forward or backwards. Not that it matters--the power core can only support all four firing for a little while, and if you use them too much you wont have enough power left for the class-10 turrets.
Razor is a good idea, especially in conjunction with the large number of class-8 turrets.
