ok i used to run freelancer on windows 7 64 bit with -dx 1920 1080 command bloom effect on,maxed out detais
my pc is very strong,it can handle freelancer maxed out and it runs smoothly,most of the time capped at 180 fps.
now the fps drops alot,especially with bloom effect on,whenever i move my ship the game freezes for 0.3 sec every half a second,so it is very annoying.with bloom off,it still lags,but not so much.also,everybody i pvped complained about my horrible lags(watch the next video,there you see someone recording his pvp against me) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c328NB5eMiA...mp;feature=plcp
so,anybody knows how to fix this annoying problem?

Go to your EXE folder and Freelancer.INI file. Find the entry mentioning the word Lag and it will tell you everyhting else. Just add a ; in front of the line it mentions.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

[ListServer]
hostname = localhost ;Your local machine
;;; Uncomment the following line to use the community provided freelancer list server replacement.
;;; This line is commented out as some people believe that this causes game lag.
hostname = gun.fllistserver.com
this is what i found after my second search.

Yup. Just add a ;;; before the Hostname=gun.fllistserver.com

<strike>I had a similar problem when I tried running with the Nvidia 301.42 drivers. Reinstalling the 280.26 drivers fixed the problem for me. Perhaps there is a connection between these two situations?</strike>
Edit: Well, scratch that. Problem started again today. Time to try the above fix...
