This is a good idea, saves seeing some pirates flying to places like Manhatten and asking for a NCC from someone who can dock. That is if the pirate hasn't scared everyone off or been blown up yet.
Granted, most people buy NCCs not on the character that needs it, but on one of their other characters. Still, it would be nice to see them on New Haven, the freeports, and faction HQs.
NCCs should be on all the major faction home bases (Ouray Base is the home base of the Xenos, Mactan is home base of Lane Hackers, etc.), all the Freeports, and New Haven (that's in Connecticut, right?). Either this, or on all bases, but that might be too much work.
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

/signed. First thing I was thinking when I read what the topic was about.

This is my thoughts as well. It may be a lot of work but it does make sense to have this a reality. Since there is absolutely NO RP attached to it what so ever.
I mean if almost all bases have credit cards which I have never seen to using or ever want to use. Then why cant NCCs?
I think this is a good idea but i would also like to direct you here
Name change automation, given that a new mod release in not even in testing yet
the way we do name changes might completely change before the new mod build.
I would also suggest raising the price for name changes if they are that much trouble,
might make players cut down on the number of requests. Five to ten mil per change.

Hmm. That price seems okay. But others with less money won't agree.
