Today me and Lt. Tigon had a routine patrol through Kusari. In Honshu we found a Junker "fanon", who had some of the mysterious Wilds in its hold. Lt. Tigon ordered him to drop the Wilds, but the Junker denied and was engaging his Cruise engines. A CD from my GB stopped his efforts to escape. My crew was able to hold down his shields. However, with a lucky hit, he managed to destroy Lt. Tigons fighter. My crew tractored his escape pod in immediately. He was unharmed and in relative good condition. Then the Junker was able to flee, using his speed. Long range scanners tracked him and i followed til Planet Honshu. With some Hacker software the Junker managed to land on Honshu. Soon he launched again and my crew was preparing to open the fight again, when 2 Mandalore Mercs in fighters showed up. So i decided to let the Junker run and engaged the Mandalores.
My crew damaged both fighters, when another independent Merc in an Arrow was joining the Mandalores. While he was not my primary target, he came into the crossfire and was destroyed soon. One of the Mandalores suffered more and more damage when the combat continued.
Suddenly 2 Corsairs came in scanner range. Mandalores were breaking the fight with me and attacking the Corsairs. Even if this new skirmish has taken place in Honshu i decided not to interfere with. Also i had this Junker on my scanners again. While Corsairs and Mandalores were in combat, my GB chased the Junker from Honshu to Sig 19 until the Junker fled towards Omicron Beta.
When i returned to Honshu i could not found any trace of the Mandalores and Corsairs. So i brought Lt. Tigon to Honshu and took position at Akita. From there i ordered Lt. Jr. Sabayai to fulfill patrol duties.
Later, long range scanners onboard the Matsumoto in Hokkaido tracked the signals of the two Corsairs "Pinkvolly" and "STARBUCK". I was able to contact them. I informed them about the agreement between TBH and KNF and ordered them to leave Kusari space in peace. I convinced them, not to weaken us each other, since we have to face the same enemies. Even though those were independent Corsairs, they agreed with my pov and decided to follow the wisdom of TBH elders and left Kusari asap. In this case diplomacy showed the best effect.
Soon Lt. Jr. Sabayai had finished the patrol, but had problems with his IFF. I ordered him to follow me to the Nagumo, to fix this issue. In Kyushu an Ion storm hit my GB. When it was over i found myself next to the Nagumo, but no signs of Lt. Jr. Sabayai. So i docked on the Nagumo for neccessary repairs after this Ion storm.

Note1: Junker "fanon" showed extreme hostility against Kusari authorities. I suggest to set him on KoS list. He seems to be a good pilot and should be treated with caution.

Note2: 3 Mini Razors, 3 Nuke Launcher and 1 more Nomad Blaster are now safe aboard the Heikiko Maru

EYES ONLY: Fleet Admiral Sulu

Taichou,

I regret to inform you you that I have failed in my assignment. Deputy Defense Minister Ashi Tebayai was assassinated yesterday while attending a secret meeting on the Luxury Liner Hawaii.

The Destroyer Tebayai was powered down approximately 15 kilometers from the Hawaii when it received reports of an attack by unknown vessels on the OSC liner. By the time we had brought our systems on line and responded to the report, the unknown assailants had invaded Minister Tebayai's suite, killing him and a number of other unidentified persons.

The ships then managed to make good their escape into the dense gas clouds "west" of the Ogashawa.

The Tebayai is on course for Matsue Base, where I will resign my commission and submit to a full investigation of my failure. My beloved Destroyer and its crew will be made available for reassignment, decommissioning, or home defense. My devout apologies to the Ministry of Defense, the Emperor, and my fellow Officers for my failure.

Commander Yomigae.

Today our forces were preparing near battleship Nagumo for an assault on Dundee but long range scanners did not shown any special Bretonia military activity there.

We attempted to escort a plutonium convoy to the Molly space when an ion storm badly damaged our ships and forced us to land in the near battleship.

I also received a long distance message from an UOG pilot, more details in Delta comms.

We Engaged upon Contract. We have not made any breach of terms or even of our neutrality. Our disclaimer even states that if we kill one of your vessels, then its nothing personal, Just business.

You are taking things to extremes in thinking we are making an act of war. We have to make a living too, you know.

I am called the coward for engaging AND Pursuing you? You, my friend, are the coward for not continuing your engagement and retreating when you could have easily won.

You dare to call us Dishonorable, when you have brought shame upon yourselves by retreating and not falling in combat!

To declare war on us because we are trying to make a living and the fact that we did nothing out of spite is a highly unwise decision, as you already are at war with SF, and not to mention having NovaPG on your doorstep.

We will not tolerate the KoS on our heads and will not withdraw the bounty placed on KNF's head. It isnt about credits, its about homes. And even if you do kill off some of our pilots, it'll be a small sacrifice for the home we have been provided. Thousands more would have died than you could have ever killed had we not accepted this contract. So there is no price we will not pay to silence this once and for all.

Now for OUR rebuttal; We will return fire, so to speak and turn around and declare war on you if that is what you want. But beware, you already have enough on your plate, having NovaPG, and all of Bretonia, not to mention other Kusari pirates against you.

We await your reply. Our terms are simple, we will not withdraw our contract and will retaliate should you declare war.

Our relations towards you are still treated as NEUTRAL.

Forgive my late response, perhaps the use of a more official channel could have speed up the process.

Forgive me sir but if you open fire repeatedly and with deadly force on our forces all can be said except we are neutral..

I understand that it's bussness for you but until the contract ends we have to keep our pilots aware of your intentions to claim bounties on our heads. This to explain our "unfriendly" status (diplomacy updated).

No direct hostile operation will be ever launched in your space or on your vessels, but we will use all the necessary force to defend ourselves from your attacks.
The Darkwing mercenaries are no longer working for us.

Subject: Recon flight into Dundee.

Last night i was going on a solo recon flight into Dundee. As soon as i was there i started a a full sensor scan, while heading to the single planet. As i came closer my scanners tracked a bretonian Templar, identified as "Isaac Brock". He also had tracked me and we engaged eachother. We were dancing around and none of us could gain an advantage. Later another bretonian vessel, a Hussar, callsign "Drake.Kaiden" was showing up, right in time a newly formed Chimaera wing (NPC's) from the Nagumo was coming to my aid. Never the less, no side could gain an advantage. Minutes later, the shields of Isaac Brock were down and i decided to use my Nuke mines, when we were passing eachother. Unfortunately my shields were gone down too and the Nuke was exploding to soon. Pain was the last thing i remember.

I awoke in the med center onboard the Nagasaki, so i don't know whats happened, but recon officers confirmed, my Nuke was taking the target too, it was used against.

Sulu-Taichou,

On two occassions today, the vessel "B.Petrie[T]" was sighted on long-range scanners in Hiroshima system.

On the first occassion, I contacted the pilot over private comms, and informed him that Hiroshima was closed to civilian traffic. I also warned him that he faced a large fine and possible destruction for repeat offense(s).

On second occassion, I attempted to intercept the vessel in Hiroshima, but he escaped to Honshu, and did not respond to my messages. I lost track of the vessel in Honshu. I did not acquire a visual scan of the vessel, but my belief is that he is not a trader, as his transponder indicates. He is known to be a high-level ranking.

Recommend this vessel be added to a list of "suspicious" persons, if not KoS, at your discretion.

Sulu-Taichou,

On two occassions today, the vessel "B.Petrie[T]" was sighted on long-range scanners in Hiroshima system.

The B.Petrie was detected a third time this day attempting to pass through Hiroshima; but this time he did not escape.

The Advanced train ran into Honshu again, but this time I was able to disrupt the trade ring as he attempted to escape towards Akita Station. I took heavy fire, but managed to keep the lane disrupted until I was joined by Ensign Katsumoto Fukui. We were still unable to drop the trader's shields long enough to breach his hull.
Fortunately, the honorable Haruto Foo of the Hogoshan Black Dragons was monitoring system traffic, and came to our aid as well.

The B.Petrie fought silently and grimly until the end, and never acknowledged his crime of violating our Home System. After the Petrie's destruction our vessels ferried the terrified VIP's held in the tiny cargo pods to Planet Honshu for treatment and temporary lodging.

My compliments to Ensign Fukui and Black Dragon Haruto for their aid in stopping this trespasser.

Regards,
Ens. Hoaxley

While on patrol in Kusari Space yesterday I was alerted by our sensors that a breech of Hiroshima had been made and we have an authorized intruder. Scrambling to the New Tokyo-Hiroshima jump hole I responded within 2 minutes of the alert to find a trade vessel speeding off at my presence. Hailing the vessel I was greeted by the pilot B.Petrie who was less than forthcoming on why he was in our space again.

A good 15k in front of me I engaged my cruise engines in an attempt to intercept him. However he made it to the nearest jump hole and by the time I caught up with him he was already in Illinois. I apologize for my failings and will double my efforts at once in securing Hiroshima.

Wondering how many ships are existing under the callsign B.Petrie(T).

16 hours ago i took position at Honshu JH in Hiroshima with the GB under my command, because longrange scanners tracked B.Petrie(T) on the border to Kusari. While i was monitoring his movements, the Tawakemono was entering Hiro from NT and set course to Oita JH. Right after her the B.Petrie entered via Honshu JH with a full load of Cardamine. My GB opened fire immediately, but this scum must have had some hacker software, because i was getting an enemy IFF and all nearby forces attacked me (CD bug). After damaging the train the distance increased and i could not follow cruise disrupted by our own forces. Fortunately the Tawakemono was on Oita JH and gave a demonstration of her firepower. The contraband was also destroyed immediately.
After the destruction of B.Petrie i heared a strange "badaboom" via comm from the captain of the Tawakemono.
I was wondering. Seems the Captain of the Tawakemono has spent to much time with a well known, odd KNF officer.
Nevermind, the incursion of Hroshima was punished immediately.

I strongly recommend to set a bounty onto B.Petrie until this bugger is learning the lesson.

Subject: Defending Kyushu

My appologies in advance, but this report might be a bit chaotic as the battle was, recently fought in front of Kyushu. I'll try to keep it straight.

I was docked on Kyushu to retire my Chimaera, when i received comm signals of AFA vessels and Mandalores. So i made a quick preparation, launched and headed to planet Kyushu. AFA kept me informed about location and status of Mandalores, while i informed all present KNF vessels. On Kyushu i ordered Mandalores to leave Kusari, but they decided to attack. AFA were joining me in the fight against Mandalores, when 2 or 3 Nova PG entered the fight too.
It was a wild dance and no side could gain an advantage. Soon a corporation/independent Kusari destroyer entered the fight on our side, while an independent merc in a Liberty GB suddenly started shooting the destroyer, which was destroyed soon. A later check of the comm log was prooving an agreement between NovaPG and this merc!!!!
In the meanwhile the alerted KNF officers have arrived the scene. It was no skirmish any longer. It was becomming a battle with casualties on both sides. I have lost the overview, because of so many parties participating in.
At the end a BHG BC was coming to our aid and the leader of KNF-E, who was alerted too.
Suddenly there was silence. The battle was over. and CSV from planet Kyushu started to collect the debris and scrap of the destroyed ships.

Participating vessels and losses

KNF and AFA side:

KNF Mako VHF - survived
KNF Ragin.Gaijin VHF - destroyed
KNF Katsumoto Fukui VHF - destroyed
KNF Yoshi Sabayai Bomber - survived without participating directly. Docked soon at Kyushu to prepare his KNF-E Explorer
KNF-E Joshiee Kusari Explorer - survived

AFA Ze'evs rage Gunboat - destroyed
AFA Hazabachi Tokido VHF - survived
AFA Morimoto VHF - survived heavy damaged

USS Golden AP 1 Destroyer - destroyed
BHG ******* BC - survived

NovaPG and Mandalores:

NovaPG Rangu Hikari bomber - destroyed
NovaPG Reflection VHF - destroyed
NovaPG ******* bomber - survived and fled heavily damaged (as usual)

Mandalores Ranovla Aran VHF - destroyed
Mandalores Da Pirunha VHF - destroyed
DhaWherd Rasheya (Mandalore without "M" sign) Interceptor - destroyed

Independent Merc ****** Gunboat - survived (remaining unknown)

Ensign Hoaxley and ensign Fukui are safe on planet Kyushu and awaiting the assignment of new fighters. Both are unharmed.
AFA have taken care about their fellows.
Escape pods of USS Golden were picked up by a nearby trader.
Escape pods of the enemy were not found.

We had the higher losses but were able to defend our homeland with the help of the AFA, BHG and an independent Kusari destroyer, while Neurotical Novas and Mad Mandalores have prooved themself once more unable to overthrow the kusarian society.

Note 1: Have a sharp eye for independent Mercs with Liberty GB in Kusari.

Note 2: Be aware of DhaWherdRasheya in his Arrow. He is not using the common Mandalore IFF. So if you have an encounter of Mandalores, watch your back.
