After he managed to full out all of his report and managed to see whats wrong with his Templar and fix it Davis went to quickly take a shower. Before he has to go to the bar to meet one of the new recruits miss Christina Davis that he just met. After the shower the strapped on a nice shirt and pants with a leather jacket and took off for the bar. He didn't quite rush but he was a little nervous sense this will his first time actually not meeting someone outside duty.

As he entered the bar the Bartender recognized him and nodded to him. He went to the Bartender and two more of his colleges went there as well to greet them. Davis the two men and the Bartender start talking between each other'while Davis waited for Christina to show up.
Smog, smog, and smog.
Blech.

Christina hurried to the bar, unused to the awful stench of the Leeds atmosphere. She hoped they would have some sort of air filters inside the building.

Making her way down the entrance, she breathed a sigh of relief as the familiar smells of cigarettes and alcohol overwhelmed the oppressive "Leeds-neas" that was found outside. She took a quick look around for Charles, and made her way to where he stood.

Tapping him on the shoulder, she stood there with a smile, still in her flight suit.
He turned around with a smiles and nodded.

" A there you are nice to see you seems you were in a hurry not to even have time to take off that suit but it suits ya lass."

He gestures towards a small table and says good buy to the guys he just spoke and after he took two nice orange juices from the bar and helped Christina sit. He smiled and nodded.

"Well Leeds is not that best around these part all smoke from the industry. But at least they keep the air clean in here. So Kiki How are you ? How did you find your first patrol ? "

He smirked and took a zip from his juice
After sitting down, she sips from her glass for a moment, thinking how best to answer.
"It was eventful, I would say. I'm looking forward to future service, I know."

After adjusting her posture a bit, she spoke again. "I wish that more people were available to help with the war effort. Aside from a few mixups in communication, everything went well out there. If we had more people, we could be even more effective... but I think I'm getting ahead of myself.
"So, tell me about you. I want to hear about Commodore Davis!"
She grins and takes another drink from her juice.
He smiles as he hears Commodore Davis that pushed him back in to memory of his ensign days. He looked at her and responded.

" Its just Charles lass we are not on work. Well I admit myself there was a lot of communication but that's nothing what the Galllics can bring out. About myself.

He paused for a moment smirked and took a drink from his juice.

"Well I don't know where to begin with. Well lass I am from Cambridge usually but I moved to live here some tome ago. But not a word of this to Commander Sinclair he tents to joke around when we are flying together. So to continue I have finished the law school on New London even lived there for a short period of my life. I have a older brother but he is probably somewhere in the Tau's Priveteering , haven't heard from him for a while.

He kinda got me in to the armed forces when the Kusari Navy entered Leeds. Well I can say that your ensign days wont be as bad as mine. As an ensign I nearly had to do double or triple shifts there were some kusarians back then that did not even sleep and we were short on men power thats why we were pushed a little hard .

But that wont happen to not to worry. But I have earned my reputation among pilots and the Admirals but I wont brag but if your that curious your welcomed to ask Sinclair and Admiral Piett they know me better then anyone else. "

He smirks and take a zip from the juice and looks at her.

"Tell me about you self how come a lass like you ended up in the Bretonia armed forces? "

He smiles as he asked the question

"Well, I'm also from Cambridge. I used to work as a pharmacist for a while, but a few days ago my cousin was killed by the Gallic navy... she was an escort pilot for Bowex, actually. I was really upset, and I still am, but I decided that my calling wasn't mixing chemicals together, but rather working to safeguard the Bretonian people more directly.
"I... there isn't really much more to tell."
She rests her chin in her hands, looking Charles in the eyes.
Charles saw that she was upset and he knew what she felt but when he felt it it was in a different war. He looked at her and thought to say the things that he just now managed to realize and what even his friends Family even one Ronin told to him. But he decided to keep it hidden.

"Hey don't be sad or upset I know losing someone close is not easy. I have told this to other people I will tell it to you. It's not your fault I am sure that if you were up there with her you would have done everything to help her,but fate did not present chance however. I dough that she will want you to ruin your life because of grief and saddens. And to destroy your desire to life and the way enjoy it."

As he pauses to take his breath, he keeps looking in her eyes

"Yes its hard but there is a Kusarian say witch is how they comfort their people in such situation. Every bad for good. You never know what is on the next corner of life something bad or something wonderful that can change your life. Also lass don't be sunken and bear yourself with this burden to be sad and unhappy for one reason it doesn't suit you. There should be a big smile on your face."

He nodded and smiled at her. As he noticed how she looked at him and he returned with the same look hoping he will bring a smile on her face.
She nodded as he spoke, blinking a bit. "I- thanks... I just hope that the Armed Forces will let me keep other people from experiencing things like this. Have you lost someone important to you in the past, too?"
She took a deep breath and placed her hands on the table. "If it's not something you want to talk about, I can understand that... Losing a loved one is really tough." She sniffled a bit, looking at him sympathetically.
He lowered his head for a while but again he looked her in the eyes. And gently with his right hand grabbed hers.

"Yes I did but not in the Gallic war. It was way back when the Kusarians were first striking Leeds. But I may tell some other time it is really heavy but maybe in time I will share it."

He try's to remain calm and not burst in to emotion but there is a emotion he finds hard to conceive sense that moment he heared her voice on the radio and as he saw her the first time in the Bar, but he continued.

"This is the nature of war we lose something but we regain something. I just learn this myself even as I am a commodore of the armed forces. Well that's why we don't have to surrender when we lose something."

He smirked as he continued holding her arm and looking in to her eyes.
Christina smiles when Charles speaks, his words really making sense to her.
"I guess you are right. Maybe sometimes we can get something better than what we lost, but no matter what happens, we are better for the experience, right?" She closes her eyes for a moment. "I don't mean to seem overbearing at all, Charles, but if you ever want to talk about it, I am here."
She moves her other hand to his, holding on to it gently.
