Scorn this is in no way a "flame Harvys" thread. If fact, I won't even mention the player name. It was used as an example of how (I feel) this server has gone downhill.
But anyway, I'll be sticking around for a while, so you're stuck with me.:D

Yay! Party time! :yahoo:
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
He is going to sort those "Harvesters" in specific out.
For the record. Their RP before the battle was exceptional. And I must bring that to the table the fact that they have done extremely well since they started roaming Sirius. And Turning this community around means capable role players, and New York happens to be the system that needs attention. Keepers and Harvesters are a perfect example. They just happened to get a little agitated as we all do, and this here thread is a perfect example of that.
Positive re-enforcement is key, Role play is the door. And the community is on the other side.:)
Keep it up guys.

Wow. Agreed.
I know I'm new here, and don't have much 'push' as it were, but using the lone character that I do I tend to get at least a little bit of flack from the 'good guys' whenever I'm tooling around in 'areas not suited for my kind.' (God, I love playing an Outcast!)
While the only issue I've had was a recent one (and not really all that bad - check the BLS Dumps), that single occurence really woke me up to what's going on with other players, and why those of us who aren't as equipped as others should really, REALLY pay attention to our ZOI's and such. While I, personally, was neither asked to leave Texas, nor really given a good reason to (other than my planned departure), I was more amused than aggravated at being fired upon. I mean, Ammi is an Outcast, so I expected such things. And hey, cool for him for showing her the door, as it were! Annoying? For Ammi, maybe. Way awesome for her player. :)
The more I play, the more I realise that there are some totally AWESOME people here. For every one individual I see breaking RP, I know there are at least five or ten more out there who are totally filling the roles they've applied for. I deliberately buzz around in Liberty space, not only because I have business there, but also to see what kind of response I'll get by my very existence.
However, it really must be asked: RP Disco should be used for RP. We have a PVP server for a reason. Why then, are those who do not follow the obvious RP rules even being allowed to continue? I'm very confused by this, but see it mostly as a thing uncontrollable, like getting constantly sniped in Halo or Call of Duty.
I continue on, expressing my characters. I won't let anyone get in the way of that... except myself. And maybe Zapp, since he's the boss. :p
I'd also like to point out: The greater the popularity, the greater the population, the greater the percentage of OORP and rule breaking. It's just the way things are in general. The more apples, the more worms.
