New Aquilon Carrier, if I were to..

1st Difference:
New Aquilon has 4 Primaries and 2 Heavies firing FWD aswell as only 4 Secondaries shoot forwards, on the old Aquilon it had just 2 Primaries and 2 Heavies Shooting forwards aswell as 10 Secondaries.

yeah.... using a difference like that wont help, because it makes me think this is partly pew motivated.

I dont care for the PVP potential of the Aquilon its a carrier after all, and so if having the old Aquilon means only 2 Primaries fire forwards well I am happy with that. As for me the Carrier is all about its potential to have an impact on players and functionality. The new carrier is not as well designed as the old one and the new skin is out of sync with the Nephilim they should be ships of a similar line!

Well i took another good look at the model within for myself the best system to look. The Omicron lost.. Well honestly if you look close you see many things which are on other zoner models. Ok its different then many are used too, but the model itself is good. I see really no strange things in it even comparing to other zoner ships.

@kazinal: he new conference model is older than SC hornet ( if you mean the onewith the twin tail ) - so, no - its not even inspired by that one - it was inspired by the alien dropship.

So with all these differences in mind if I were to switch the 3D Models so I have the Old Aquilon in 4.87, would these changes the models bring be noticed and thus be counted as hacking?

hehe both cases many are wrong here. If i am not mistaken you can use the old model. But only its looks ingame on YOUR client. So hitbox and loadout will be the same as current one but you use on your screen your hardpoints and old model to pew with. Still it would be worthless as the current hitbox exceeds the old one i guess. But you need to replace the new .cmp and .mat with the old ones (.cmp is the model and .mat is the looks ak how its filled up)

As for the newer and older model for me its a nice change only dislike a little the 2 wings on the sides if you have its rear view. But on the other hand if you look it from the side it looks pretty good.

Don't change any models or hitboxes client side, even when this makes you have the disadvantage.

It's considered cheating and will get you banned or severely sanctioned.
Of course Duvelske knows all about the hitbox changing.
