Would indeed make the model far more streamlined. Unfortunately that strips it down to the basic cruiser hull that we all know (and love).
I'll experiment with it for a while though, try out all the suggestions from above! Thanks once more for your thoughts btw, they really do help me improve!

hey nice idea for a ship, but like many said it looks a bit too blocky. but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.

what is the poly count on this model? you could chamfer some of the edges to make it look a little less rectangular, but of course that would raise the polycount again.

Try chamfering the forward cannon as a start, see if it helping the blocky feeling?

Plenty more to come by the way..

no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no. no!!!!! THE LPI SHALL BE THE LAST FACTION TO NOT GIVE IN TO CAP SHIPS! (RD is an exception. it is limited like crap) FIGHTERS! FIGHTERS! FIGHTERS......!

.....anyway, does liberty really need any other ships? besides an actual bomber that-does-not-say-Havok and that awesome shuttle Xing made.

yep I think me and Jinx pretty much filled in the holes for all Liberty ships. Liberty now has;

ULF
LF
Freighter
Shuttle (Grizzli)
HF
VHF
Bomber (upholder)
Gunboat
Cruiser
Battlecruiser (Jinx' remake)
Dreadnaught
Battleship (Atlantis Carrier remake)

that probably makes Liberty with the most ship types ever... And, it is time indeed for me to turn to something else. Kusari? Bretonia? Kusari? Bretonia? Colonials? The annoying civ imports...?

Looks like heavy cargo ship to me! But it looks like Liberty ship anyway..
