Yes, yes, I'm still alive. I managed to fix the comms... I think. How's the signal?
Erm... to whoever sent that last transmission. Just save me! I couldn't care less about this ship. I think it's beyond repairs. Maybe the zoners could fix it... after all, it's their tech.
Life support failed in another compartment today. The ship's condition is critical. I'm running on auxiliary generators because I decided to shut down the core reactor. It was becoming unstable.
Fresh air supply is down to 2.6%. That's air for... 70 hours.
COMM ID: Commander Helen Den [secondary fleet]
TARGET ID: [system wide transmission]
SUBJECT: Offering assistance
ENCRYPTION: None
PRIORITY: Normal
This is commander Helen Den of the Liberty Navy Secondary Fleet. A bounty hunter forwarded a distress signal and Navy Command sent me to investigate. I'm in command of LNS-Miami and we just entered the Kepler system. Will be joining the search and rescue efforts.
Bounty Hunter Roena Calintia, I would like to ask any information you have about the possible location of the vessel. Also, if anyone else is looking for this ship, we would like to coordinate our actions with you. We need to be efficient because time is probably short.
Starlight survivor, hang in there. We're coming.
//nope, I won't metagame and find myself with the second character. I just saw an opportunity to involve this one into the story. don't worry, it won't interfere. On a side note, one of the participants to this story has already figured out the location of the ship so, if you want to take part to the in game mini-event, hurry up.
Is anyone still looking for me? Situation is critical. Almost all decks lost life support. Ship's shields have failed. A fuel pipe exploded near the air tanks and damaged the indicators. I have no idea how much air I have. If the tanks are intact after the explosion I should have oxygen for 50 hours or so.
//I'm online right now if you want to save me in game
You again, I almost lost hope for you. My ship is currently undergoing repairs, as soon as she is ready we will be headed in your direction. Hold out as long as you can. You're no good to me dead.
The frequency used by the Starlight to emit the distress signal goes offline. The cause is unknown. Either the ship's core exploded, the communication system crushed, the power went off or the survivor closed the transmission.
//The rescue mission ended. The survivor has been rescued by a Xeno. Link to the story will be in my signature when ready.
