If you typed this, ALL factions including the guard factions will be listed, if you hit the F8 button. So you can see all your faction diplomacies, even if you have visited only Pensylvania
Death messages should have a timestamp if you have chattime on. Deaths in different systems probably don't need it, that would save a lot of clutter in the chat log, but deaths in the same system should show it. This would help solve issues as the one in the thread. Of course, typing /time (or any chat) helps, but it's frustrating and requires alertness.
Telling people to look on the forums for some topic is a little difficult. It would be nice if one could more easily integrate the forums and the game using FLHook. If possible,
Code:
/go 27247
Would open up the Aomori Recruitment Center in a browser window. ( I don't know if this is really possible through FLHook, as this is client based...)
Factions and special RP people could have keywords, e.g.
The command safeguard is good, but it triggers when you start a sentence with an elipsis (i.e. '...'), which I do a lot. I guess it's something I'll eventually learn to avoid, but it's annoying. Any chance it could be changed to be excluded from the current system?
Could we set up a command that determines the number of bats shield uses for regeneration?
It could look something like /setbatnum <number>
It could be used to determine how many batteries your ship uses each time you hit that button. It is most valuable for capital ships that can't even recharge their shields to 100% with one load of batteries.
It makes sense in RP as well, it can be counted as command: "Divert all energy to shields" or just certain percentage of it
