This matter has been brought up to admins' attention. We think that any concepts related to "imported aliens" (or any random new aliens) have no place on Discovery. There are Nomads, there are Phantoms, and The Wild who can be considered partially alien. No more alien factions.
To certain extent, individual RP as an alien is acceptable, but I forsee many limitations here. Like, necessity to use one of the pre-defined IDs.
In any case, new alien factions are not welcome, and stories related to "new" aliens can proceed only in the most unofficial way, without affecting any other stories going on.
Aye...... i dont like it.... ill Make a Character as a Solo Exile then not a faction.... I just hope that Aliens can become Part of disco once too seems i have to stick with what i have now... i hope People will accept this stuff on a day..... seems TE) is R.I.P....
EDIT: They arent Imported BTW i made those aliens up as something NEW since Not many Persons like Imports...

One must take into account the original (vanilla) freelancer, which is what Discovery is based on, when considering introducing aliens or anything else non-human.
During SP the nomads infiltrated nearly every house and caused more than a little chaos, resulting in numerous casualties. in the end the nomads/wild were driven back and all was peacefull again (relatively speaking of course).
it's more than understandable that the human populace as a whole in the freelancer universe would hold a strong resentment toward anything non-human. thus resulting in any alien character being cast out by anything and everything controlled by humans. not even the zoners would welcome them due to their current continous conflict with the nomads for no other reason than fear of the alien being a nomad themselves.
so yeah, you can make a solo alien character. i wonder in RP, where they would dock? they wouldn't be welcome anywhere, you couldn't trade for sure. everyone would ether avoid you or try to kill you. you could mine i guess at least until someone found you.
it could be done i guess, but it doesn't seem very fun.
the only thing i could think of that would come close would be the monkeys on planet Primus. yeah i could see that....APES FOR THE WIN!!!! :D
