I think the "fear of death" line sounds weird. She sacrificed herself in the first chapter... doesn't really fit.

This is a nice story, although i found it hard to tell if CrystalWind was male or female (not that it mattered). It is a very nice length as well. I hate reading long story's on a computer screen but this is a good length.

well, all of us except:

-The traders that would rather be blown up than pay tax
-The people who suicide after a fight to avoid repair bills

Infact tenacity, not everyone does fear the idea of death. Doesn't mean those people won't avoid it though, after all... life is kinda fun..

And anyway, I think I fear the pain that closely preceeds death more than death itself...
