The following mods are allowed on Discovery:

- Hidamari's Sound Mod http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=24369 (OUTDATED, USE WITH CAUTION)
- Weapon Sounds Remake http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=119366

The following .INI files can be edited:

- DATA\INTERFACE\HudShift.ini

Reminder

Due to the difficulty of tracking intentional cheaters, the Admins are now disallowing any modifications that make changes to the Freelancer .ini files. Programs such as SWAG Pack, that do not effect Freelancer .ini files are still permissable.

If you are currently using some sort of modification that edits these files, you have one week to either uninstall the mod or reinstall a clean version. After this time, if we catch a player making edits to their .ini files, they will have all ships deleted as first offense and banned after a second.

There are some cool FX mods out there. If you wish to have your effects added to the server, speak with the devs and see if they can work with you on implementing it.

This needs a bump.
It seems there are many players who are starting to experiment with non-official visual packs again. This causes issues. Please read the post above.
