I Fully agree with this about the fact we should have some say in how things roll here. I find it not fair that we have to wait for what the Devs to do here. It would be nice to be able to have a story line that we the (Players) have a part in to make it more interesting and fun. Sadly its kinda boring now. So I say let us have some say in the story line!

Because a purely player controlled storyline, like your original post is suggesting, would turn Disco into a cluster**** within 2 weeks, because it would become 'who can get the most people to swarm an area or system' like the texasburg raids of old.

The Faction Leader's can ask what they member want and so on. Sure not every faction will get what they want, but they get some other stuff and so on.
Except this is already in place.
And why so many faction leader have so many problems with the current dev story? When this chat allready excist?
the Faction Leaders chat, by varied opinion i've heard, is a veritable cesspool and not worth existing.
As to 'problems with the devs and the storyline', well i dont know. it seems to depend on who you talk to.
As @Shizune has pointed out, the Kusari Civil War storyline has been going splendidly with the faction leaders working out the details on what happens to what and who goes where.
Some factions and areas probably get priority for changes and advancement, especially if its a major change and/or the area has been fairly stagnant story wise for a while. (This is all hypothetical speculation by the way)
If its a minor thing or it will only really benefit one faction, it probably falls down the list of priorities.
TL;DR: Official Factions actually have quite the creative control over respective aspects of the storyline EG: The Rhein-Lib war coming to an end, the Omicron Changes, the Kusari Civil War.

1. Yep this cluster.... would be really heavy. But i mean sure, you can't capture a system in 2-3 days. Maybe in 1 Month hard activity with siege on some bases and so on. And really much rp with some monitoring from the admins and devs
2. Like the old LPI Leader has some problems with the Devs and so on... maybe he can say more, cause i can't say it like he allready sayed it.

That's kinda how it works now. You talk with the leaders of the other involved factions and you work things out so things can happen. A great example is the recent events in Omicron Delta.
But not every tom, dick, indie and his dog will get a say in the storyline. thats a drawback of indie'ing. little responsibility, but little control.

I dislike that Fallout 4 is being released in November. I would very much like to play it right now, and I have plenty of ideas for what they should put in the game. Why do I have to wait?

Good example
I understand that you have much to do, don't take it so negative.
