Admiral O'Neill,

Recently we were both involved in an incident involving one of your former men. A complete disregard to superior's orders, putting lives of good men in danger, that is including me and you, and a completely unnecessary waste of resources. Such acts are good material for court martial, and in this case, involving these affiliates, it hints us to rather see him as a defector or simply a traitor; Things that the Navy doesn't take lightly to. And it makes me think whether we've lost a man or just a ship.

So, before going straight to taking action I would appreciate your word in this matter. Judging from his file, I see a rather long service time and it makes me wonder what could push him into such baloneys. Any information you have in the matter can be put to great use for the ESRD teams. Hopefully a solution will be found quickly.

Well Commodore O'Howell's acts suprised me. In fact his behaviour was wierd before he did this, but i did not suspect anything untill he sudendly requested to be assigned in the secondary fleet once again. To answer your question what could have caused this is first his mental state and maybe his age. A year ago his ship and his crew disappeared in alaska. We've found it 6 months later. Half of the crew was dead and the ship took heavy damage. After towing it back to Juneau repairing it and replacing the KIA he returned to duty about 2 months ago. And thats when he completly lost his way. The losses he suffered where maybe too much for him. Back then i did not really care with this because i could not see what was going on. Anyways. The man we are up against today is not the man who i served with for so many years. This individual is mentally broken, higly depressed and extremely paranoid. And this individual is flying a fully armored Dreadnought for whatever reasons. As you saw during the encounter he cannot be reasoned with. Also we didn't just loose one man. We lost an entire crew along with a ship. And that counts minimally 800 man. And no one actually wanted to stop this mad man. One thing is sure. They will not come back on their own, so we need to use force. And there is one more thing. Commodore O'Howell also had a very high security clearence. I hope i don't have to explain what this means. He knows too much about our deffenses, installations and plans. We cannot risk this information to end up in the wrong hands. I hope this information is enough. And yet again i have to point out that O'Howell is a mad man in a battleship, wich obviously is a bad combo. I have no doubt he will kill whoever tries to stop him.

I believe all that harsh treatment must've taken a toll on him. Actually, that would take a toll on anybody. Check up procedures shall be followed strictly in the future for every personnel member, otherwise we may find ourselves again in situations like this in the future.

What I'm left wondering here is the fact that he was supported by someone or perhaps a group. Who are these people? What what is their mission? How does Commodore O'Howell relate to it all? All these are still but questions, with no answers yet.

Either way, from what you're pointing, he had a high security clearance and that's something we can't afford him to get away with. Even though I agree with you; "where reason doesn't work, force sure does." I believe we should firstly follow a rather standard procedure. As in other occasions before, it's our duty to inform Mr.O'Howell about his acts, -formally-, and also notify him to present themselves to be discharged by court martial. Perhaps it is very likely that he will turn it down and laugh at it but either way, that will just make it easier for the ESRD teams and our combined special units to locate and retrieve any possible information from him and as well as to "tie up this loose end".

I am sorry for your loss Admiral O'Neil. I will update you as often as the situation progresses.
