No laugh or smirk came out of Kaze's mouth. She stood there, thinking of all the implications that this could create. She then got up and extended her hand in an offer to shake his.
"Understood. We have a deal. I will prepare and depart post-haste."
Their hands met, hers, cold to the touch, and a firm shake took form.
"Expect my report in the coming weeks. Good day."
Kaze said, while turning to leave the office. With the door closed, her facade broke somewhat and a small grin appeared. Looking to both sides, a woman was walking towards her, obliviously looking at a datapad. Kaze quickly started walking towards her, and passed her by. The woman raised her head too late to recognize or even have a glimpse of Kaze's face. All that she saw was the Liberty Navy Captain uniform, entering the nearest lift.
LIBCENTCOM - Planet Manhattan As they shook hands, Jones took a straight posture and remained silent. He just didn't ever like underhand kind of actions, though it was a gut feeling telling him this one was likely bound to work out. As kaze was leaving his office Jones simply replied with:
"I'm sure to expect."
As kaze clsoed the door he took a deep breath shook his head and slowly made his way back to his desk filled on paperwork and messages. Only thing left to do was making the Captain aware.
