While looking for concept Art (here) I found this "utility craft" (at least the title says that)
http://www.3dactionplanet.com/lancer/image...2/s_utility.jpg

It looks like a civilian ship similar to the line of the Heavy Lifter or the Mining Ship...
It seems this ship didn't make it ingame. Now what's your opinon? Could we find a purpose for it? Would someone model it maybe?

Well, the concept is nice, but if it's inplemented, is suggest making it a junker vessel. Cause in my eyes, it has Junker written all over it

Well, Orin also said that. I think it would fit the Junkers quite nice. Maybe a SHF ?

I'll second the "give it to the Junker's" motion. It look's great.

It does look good and very Junker-ish... but i would like to know how big it actually is hehe.

that was the original concept art for the CSV, which was drastically changed in the actual game =P

This thing would probably be closer in size to the repair ship or maybe even the mining ship.

Would anyone try to model it? You don't even have to think about a concept as it's already there...

None of the moving parts are feasible... they would have to static. This concept is from back before they got lazy... back when ships were going to have moving parts. Without the moving parts there's really no reason for this ship to be made. That's why we have the CSV (and the Collecter) instead.

meh ...
I do know that moving parts arenot possible. Nevertheless I do like this concept.
And there's also the possibility to change some parts of this ship.
