Cdre. "Kalh", et al.:
Regarding the LSF's directives upon the Gallic Front, I must remain brief. As much as I would wish to enlighten you on our capabilities to that end, I am afraid doing so, even on an encrypted channel such as this, would violate a number of directives and severely compromise many of the sources and methods we've cultivated since Gallia's appearance on the galactic stage.
However, I can offer you some information on TacOps' current briefing. Fourth Special Task Group, consisting of eight Interdictor-class Battlecruisers and several wings of support craft, is currently positioned within the California sector as a detached element operating alongside the First Fleet. Second Special Task Group (2STG) is currently stationed in New York and operates at similar strength. 2STG has standing orders to respond to California with immediate haste, should our sensors pick up anything on approach to the system. All told, this represents roughly fifty percent of the LSF's heavy asset deployment, with the remaining vessels split between assignments in Colorado, Texas, Alaska, and most recently New Hampshire and Puerto Rico.
I'll offer one final note, off the record. In-fighting between ourselves is exactly what the Gallic forces intend to cause. As much as the LPI Commissioner's tone may be cold, there is little a police force can realistically do beyond their current objectives that would make any difference in a full-scale assault on California. Likewise, even built-up intelligence agencies like the LSF can only offer so many vessels of war. As both the Commissioner and Dir. Reeves noted, most of the heavy asset deployment and long-term defense can only come from the sheer organizational and logistical capability of the Navy. We'll do what we must, but that will only account for so much.
In service to the Republic.

From: Commissioner Chun-Mai Dawn To: Commodore Kalh Subj: Re: "LPI"
Commodore Kalh,
As someone who served in the Navy before, I find your attitude appalling and would recommend to cede command of this operation to someone more qualified, specifically someone from the First Fleet.
I will not waste any more of my time on this, because Agent Veritas already explained to you the Police's and the LSF position on the matter.
Yours sincerely,
Commissioner Dawn
Liberty Police, Inc.
Thank you for your professional update Senior Agent Veritas, your correct the LPI cant offer much but anything is useful in this time.
Reeves, this is getting quite tiresome as even the Agent here deemed the Commisioners comments cold. When the fighting starts and it will, you know where to find me. Take care.
