Engaging all red wat I c without further roleplay!
EDIT: And since this isn't flood:
I guess FL ID and other generic IDs usually should have the IFF taking priority since otherwise there's no way to determine the ship's alignment. For faction IDs it becomes a bit more iffy in my personal opinion as having a BMM IFF, Rheinland Military ID Wraith is always raising an eyebrow or two. Those might be the cases where using /droprep is a good idea.
No one can out boop me, not even an Admin! Boop. ~Spuddo GRAVE REPERCUSSIONS ~Ramke Get booped on, nerd. ~Durandal I wanted to be a part of the party, hi Tails. ~Inferno Pokes are superior boops. ~Naz
It's interesting to see so many people with the "It's red, so I can kill it" idea.
Fair enough too.
I don't follow that however for various reasons, most important being that living where I do in the 'Real World' I suffer from ANZLAG, which tends to hit at difficult moments, for instance when I'm interacting with pirates.
I also happen to run an unaffiliated capital ship, so even in that ships AOI I have any number of 'red players' that I see.
If I was to attack them any time I saw them, I would constantly be swarmed under anytime I took it out for a run, because of the 'revenge' factor.
Yea. I've had my qualms with this sort of behavior such as when your running an IFF like Fugitive or Separatist most of the LNSs will just shoot you without allowing you to RP your way out of it.
