We recently received intelligence from our contacts in the Gaians, as well as from our own scouts, about what appears to be a large drydock facility in the Edinburgh system. For obvious reasons, that facility cannot be allowed to continue to exist. We intend to see to it that the base removed at the earliest opportunity. To that end, we are currently planning a joint operation between the SIS, the Gaians, and the Coalition. We were hoping that the Fourth Octavarium Fleet could supply ships to the strike force.

Removing this installation will seriously hamper the Gallic Royal Navy's ability to service their front line ships, and may give us the edge we need to begin rolling the enemy fleet back up into their own space. Please give this proposal some thought and get back to me at your earliest convenience.

I hope the delay in a direct response wasn't too troubling. One of mine left a message with one of yours about the reason. As we have resolved the administrative complications that delayed direct action, we can discuss what form that may take.

The Fleet fields few craft suited to an extensive siege operation, and fewer still that we can spare so far afield. What we can offer are precision strike support with Rook and Cutlass strike craft; Spatial-class clippers configured for recon, command & control, or bombardment; logistics; and interdiction of any support the Royalists may send.

You would know better than I the disposition of your forces and those supporting you - what would help you the most?
