You dont know me, or maybe you do? I am Niklas Mayer, CEO of Republican Shipping. Recently Junkers have been pirating in the Omegas, attacking traders, and trying to hustle and muscle the traders into complying to pay "donations". This has not gone unnoticed by Republican Shipping and subsequently we placed bounties on 2 of your people. This was done in hope to deter more from doing so, and that no one else would join in.
But it looks like after doing that, more individuals joined in and started doing the same thing. We have had 2 Republican ships heavily damaged by this band to the point where both ships has been restricted to fly local due to this. The one vessel, paid the "donation" for protection and escort. But when he was about to leave another Junker also wanted a "donation" but a larger sum. There was confusion between the two Junkers, and the Captain, not wanting to complicate the situation, waited to hear what the outcome was. He was then given 5 seconds to reply. Due to his slow response as to verify what needs to be done, the second Junker opened fire and the vessel was badly damaged. The cargo was lost, and the vessel had to be towed back to Rheinland territory to be repaired.
Due to this situation Republican Shipping has decided to put a blanket bounty on all Junkers. As every interaction we have had with Junkers, has resulted damage, loss of cargo and projects not getting completed on time. We value business, and we pride ourselves knowing that we will get the job done on time, but this has lead Republican Shipping to consider no longer trading with Bretonia. Reason is my captains lives are my number one concern and then the job at hand. Bretonia and her people should not suffer because of pirates damaging vessels and stealing cargo.
I have made it clear to my captains that if they encounter pirates, they should meet there demands, but the sheer brutality of recent events will echo through Rheinland and possibly Sirius.
I am giving you this oppurtunity to speak to these individuals, so that you can sort them out and get them to tow the line. If need be I will have one of my staff members accompany you, to make sure there is an understanding and that being on a diplomatic mission you arent bountied yourself.
I am open to negogiations, but Republican Shipping will not be taken for a fool or a way to fund more piracy. The Unioners thought they could give ultimatiums, and they were mistaken. As you are aware, an enemy of a Rheinland Corporation, will become the enemy of Rheinland itself. I know that it may seem unfair that the actions of a few changes the view of many, but Im sure if the situation was reversed you would expect me to take action aginst those involved.
I hope this gets your attention before it escalates further, as I can see us doing business together and both profiting, rather than Junkers pirating and in turn being hunted in Rheinland space like Unioners and Red Hessians. The choice is yours.

Hey there mr. Mayer, sorry to hear about the troubles you've been havin' with those dogs. I've forwarded your message to Rick Tiltman, our "official" leader, but there's a few points I can cover myself in advance.
First you should be made aware that junkers ain't exactly a unified organisation. Think of us more like zoners; each junker depot is its own entity with its own leadership, people, mannerisms, and rules. Each junker ship answers only to its own captain. We don't like that these upstarts are makin' a bad name for all of us out there, but to be honest there's not a great deal we can do about it.
Kreuzberg depot, in new Berlin, and even bornholm depot in the omegas, have always been as friendly to rheinland as possible, and had a great many business transactions with all parties of the house. In general junkers try to maintain relative neutrality with as many people as possible because, in the end, we're all about business and turning a profit, same as you.
That said, there are those, now and in the past, who've used our good name to pounce on unsuspecting victims, and that's something we never condone and try our darnedest to put down. Unfortunately, people can be bad eggs sometimes and this kind of thing keeps turning up.
The Congress will always attempt to maintain neutrality, we as an itinerant group within the greater whole of junker society have strict rules against piracy and similar behavior. We're not much more than scrappers and traders lookin' to make a living out in the black. My father was born and died a junker, and I would like to carry on that family tradition without seeing it marred by the stain of piracy.
The most we can hope to do, aside from maintaining trade relations, is provide escort services when we're available. We don't exactly have proper combat ships and few junkers are experienced when it comes to fightin', but we'll gladly do what we can.

Danke Eva Thorn, I hope to be hearing from Mr Rick Tiltman soon, so that we can put this matter at rest.
As I mentioned, I haven’t had much interaction with Junkers, just the one that I mentioned. It is sad to see some tarnish the name of many. I hope with your support, we can squash this nuisance and move forward. Which brings me to my next point.
To improve relations between our people, as well in the hope to steer others from joining the unwanted Junkers, I would like to propose a business deal, but firstly I need some information from you seeing that this is your expertise.
In Bering there is a lot of military salvage (from what I hear), and im guessing this is from the Liberty/Rheinland war. What I would like to know is the following:
- The military salvage that is there still, who does it belong to? (who did the vessels belong to before they were wrecked)
- Can you tell from what class of vessels it has come from?
- How much of it is there?
- If one would have the time and patience is there enough pieces floating around to build an almost complete ship, and if so what class?
- Is there any essential devices, structures or anything of value still there? (maybe computer systems, power cores, weaponry (even is its damaged), anything of value that the average person would overlook
Im sure the Junkers have mostly catalogued the military salvage that is there, or maybe stored away some valuable items that they may need for a rainy day.
You may be asking why would a company be asking questions like this. The reason is we want to inspect the salvage to see what could have been done better to handle the damage inflicted on them, and to run system diagnosis to see at the last moments if anything out of the ordinary was picked up.
Going back to your message, we will take you up on your offer to call upon your group to escort us across the Omegas. We have been getting many offers from across Rheinland and Bretonia to escort us, but one cant be too careful. So its best to accept the offer for when it is needed.
When Duisburg is operational, I want yourself and Mr Tiltman to pay me a visit so that we can talk in private and align some of our goals.

Woo boy, Bering, that there is a rough place right now. We used to salvage those fields pretty frequently but nowadays the unioners and battlegroup harmony make it nigh impossible to pull anything from the wrecks.
The salvage fields there are littered with both rheinland and liberty warships, even found a few supply transports from the war scattered about. Most of it is cruisers and gunboats, the battleships were the first to be salvaged for obvious reasons. I doubt at this point that you'd likely find and intact blackboxes or flight recorders, or hell anything except scrap hulls, but theres always a chance something valuable is still lingering around.

It isn't everyday that a Corporation comes calling, and even less common that when they do they do not come sticking guns at our heads claiming we have wronged them and owe then some sort of reparations when we have done nothing but earn a honest days pay. So needless to say, this is a surprise and a pleasant one at that. So thank you.
Onto the matters at hand however, The Omega Sector has been a hotbed of piracy for hundreds of years. Unfortunately with the recent troubles in Bering some short sighted Junker's have taken to piracy as a means of income. This is a problem, both for me, in terms of Public Relations, and you, in terms of your bottom line.
The situation must be rectified, therefore as a show of good faith the Congress will donate 50 Million towards catching these Junkers alive so they may face trial for their crimes in Rheinland. Additionally, we will begin shipping out our patented (patent pending in Kusari and Gallia) manifolds which are excellent to keep on board for quick repairs on ships or stations until proper repair materials can be delivered.
As for the Salvage, unfortunately what Eva said is true, what hasn't been re-purposed for use in our own ships has either been sold or melted down. While there might be a few things left out there chances are the Unioners or Harmony have salvaged anything of value that we didn't get and return to their rightful owners. However, I can send you the next few hauls and see if anything peaks your interest, mostly irradiated hull panels and a few blown out engines by now.
As for the escort services I cannot tell my people to do anything specifically, they do what they do, if they wish to escort you through the Omegas that's their prerogative and isn't on my command.
And in regards to Duisberg, that has my interest. Please, keep me informed.

My predecessors more than likely would have approached you with guns out, and gave ultimatums. I don’t work like that unless it is needed. We understand piracy is a way of life for some but when piracy turns to murdering lives of others that is a whole other ball game, to which you more likely have gotten wind of, we don’t take lightly. I will not stand by knowing my pilots are suffering at the hands of others. I have taken measures on my side with notifying BAF, BPA, RM, RFP in the hope to stop the murder when pirates don’t get their way. Rheinland government will do what it sees fit, within its constraints, to protect a Rheinland corporation as evidence shows with their presence in the Omegas increasing.
I am happy to see you taking an active stance against these murderers, and I hope that they are brought to justice.
With regards to the patented manifolds, they are most welcome. They may prove useful to a few tests of ours.
Please send a few hauls to Duisburg when it is completed as we may be able to use certain things even if its to hit someone over the head with, or melt down and use as restrains specifically for the murderers in the Omegas. If you notice anything worth of value, even something small, we will buy it. Just please make a note of it, so that we can catalog it on our side. We can negotiate on price for the hauls, but we will pay more for the valuable bits.
Well I hope they answer the call when asked to escort, as a show to the others that they are opposed to the situation they have caused.

The Junker piracy has almost stopped, there is just a random one or two floating around in the greater Omega systems. I don’t know if that was because of something you had said or just from the pressure being put on to Omega-3/Omega-7.
Duisburg Station, Republican Shipping Head Quarters is completed its construction, we just going to be installing some extra storage space, and make minor adjustments to accommodate future plans for the station. I hope we can still count on your deliveries when its operational and trust you still have the catalogue I sent you. Maybe on the first run you can come with and meet me on Duisburg as mentioned before.
I wanted to know, do you operate in Bretonia and Gallia space as well? If you do, I would like to ask something when we meet. In short its to seek and return.
