This communication is not sanctioned by the Coalition in any capacity. Consider it an informal courtesy from my end on a personal level, yes we still have a sense of individualism on this end of the fence. For the purpose of this message, I'm going to be brief, realistic and humble. As a servant of the Revolution must be.
The Fes taking up a more aggressive posturing towards Tangier has gone all but unnoticed. I knew that you would gamble for a victory in 47 the moment I was forwarded the Intelligence regarding the Battleship's return to the system. You were quick to accuse me of treachery, of grabbing for power. You are partially correct, but where you are wrong is a matter of circumstance - the context. Nonetheless, signing the Accords, giving Bretonia my backing diplomatically, being an accessory to their projection of power, I am proud of none of these things and I consider them my gravest mistake.
I unknowingly dabbled in the same brand of Imperialism that Bretonia is currently exhibiting. One motivated by the best of intentions, but Imperialism nonetheless. It's too late to turn back the clock, "Elder". We both know that mistakes, especially of this calibre cannot be undone. But we can certainly try. Make no mistake, I will not beg for you to see reason, you must make a choice upon the conclusion of this transmission.
Do you want to continue the cycle that I put in motion through a folly? Or will you liberate what was once a free World? You're right to be confident, the Corsairs are no insignificant rival. But do not succumb to notions of grandeur. If you turn for Tangier, you are turning away from the possibility of a free Canaria. I've done everything in my power to ensure that the Fes will not survive any attempt at direct aggression.
All you'll accomplish is butcher men on both sides. And at the end of the day, the Queen will not only still rule "Holland", but she will do so without an opposition capable of resisting. I will lead my men against you if I must. We will see Comrades die for our banners. But you will not have Tangier and we will have both lost. Order the Fes to hold its current course and cease corrections, proceed into 49 and you will not be hindered. Turn for Tangier and the only winner is Imperialism.
The choice is yours. I've given you the means to avoid repeating my mistake.

Señor Keller.
I once respected the hombre Alvin Katz.
You might not know that he and I share a history, I assume at your end such things are easy to be swept under the rug.
On a personal level I have never opposed his ideology for we are both protectors of the proletariat.
We both struggled for values such as equality, the redistribution of wealth and the elevation of our respective societies.
I still do so every day.
The first time the Coalition betrayed my people, was when it robbed my people from the chance of being a house that equals the other houses of Sirius.
This robbery cut a deep wound in my people's ancestral history, a deep gaping wound that according to most shall never heal again.
It was the honorable señor Alvin Katz that acknowledged this clear historical injustice that had been done to my people.
And it was him that offered peace between our nations a chance at first sight. An offer that I not only took up because of pragmatic reasons.
I was younger and I actually admired him, a part of me still does in my own way.
It was under the weight of the Hessians that señor Katz buckled.
Peace between our nations was within grasp and could have been truly wonderful and just.
But instead the Honorable Alvin Katz set in motion the second grand betrayal the Coalition bestowed upon my people.
On a individual level I respect your courtesy señor Keller.
But where I hail from we have a saying and it goes: "Que cada palo aguante su vela."
You may ask any Corsair defector in your ranks what that means, but it comes down to your problems are yours and mine are mine.
Therefor I feel little compassion for you and I consider your empty threat no more than a desperate sign of weakness.
From up close I have looked Alvin Katz in the eyes and I felt no fear for he was just a hombre of flesh and blood, alike me. I look at the carrier Alvin Katz and I feel the same.
Personally I hold no desire to destroy that beautiful ship that bares his name, partly out of nostalgia, out of the respect I once had.
But when the Corsair battering ram reaches the gate our forces will not spare anything in their way.
There is a big chance the Alvin Katz will go down in a fight void from any glory and a very slim chance that the Fes will suffer even so much as a scratch.
That risk is one that I am willing to take, that I will take.
Meanwhile the battering ram is rolling closer and closer to the gate and you señor, are running out of time.
What you choose to do is of no concern to me.
Do you wish to be remembered as the Field Marshal of great mistakes?
Consider that question a personal courtesy on my behalf.

As a soldier I respect your decision, duty is our only motivation more often than not. But as a man, my disappointment with you is immense. You choose to perpetuate the cycle and the only victory you will achieve here is dooming the Omegas in their entirety.
Tangier holds more than your eye can see, for the sake of us all what lies beneath the surface must remain contained. Your battering ram might be approaching the wall, but that wall is me, and I'm prepared to crash down on top of us all to ensure you do not put the Sector at jeopardy for the sake of conquest. I thought you would see the value of your commitment in 49, the fact that you owe the people displaced their Freedom. But not only are you willing to compromise on that promise, you've justified it for the sake of being able to sleep at night. You are now as much part of this cycle of mistakes as I am, if not more. Unlike me, you were given the chance to do the right thing, given all the context and a summary of what's at stake, and yet despite this you persist.
If you will not turn your forces back to their course, then I have no choice but to engulf them in fire until you do. I take no pleasure in glorified murder and I will honour a surrender, though I doubt any of your men would compromise on their pride and ideals as readily as you have. I will hold my ground and stay at my post, even if I am the only one left in the end.
When this is over, when the cannons have powered down and the corpses of free men line the void between the Fes and the Katz, you will count your dead knowing full well that it was you that put them in front of our guns.
