Shimamori feedback, wishes, commentaries, critique
Since recently my Internet is a bit more stable and I have some free time to put into RP of the character. I am looking forward to more interactions and thus it is only natural to have a feedback page. Feel free to comment on the matters inRP and ooRP if there is anything of interest or concern, namely regarding the character himself, AHN news, HSE board or anything related, or simply your impressions. Constructive feedback is more desirable since there is a special thread for memes, but if you have good ones - please do share.

I understand you're using it for its tech cell and diplomacy, but that isn't how it's supposed to work. An original faction that is not part of an NPC faction (criteria you meet) should not be using an NPC faction ID. To be using an NPC faction ID means you are part of that NPC faction, but you say you aren't.
The alternative is a Freelancer ID. This is what original factions that aren't part of an existing NPC faction use, and from there they can then progress up to having their own original ID through sufficient presence on the server, roleplay, and player/faction requests. Then you can begin to build your own faction tech cell and NPC diplomacy. Some examples of this that spring to mind are AFC, Battlegroup Auxesia and Bristol Constructions.
The Freelancer ID may limit you to only certain tech at 100% and if you want to use others you may have to make roleplay requests for it and suffer the reduced power, or alternatively make SRPs, but this is the choice you make when you create an original faction that isn't part of an existing NPC faction. Your diplomacy is also more limited, perhaps relying on bounty boards as a stopgap (there are Kusari boards that would be very useful to you) but this is again the choice made.
Otherwise, I see a lot of genuine effort put into this.
This matter has indeed been an issue for us and we have tried discussing it. Initially, the ID was of KNF but then we changed to KSP to reflect more "domestic" orientation. The choice is not without issues as well. Even Hogosha ID was considered at certain time.
I suppose, switching to FL ID would be the most logical thing to do. The only concern in this case is the SRPs, namely the time to wait for those (we are already waiting on one SRP). Still, because of the focus of the faction on RP, I suppose it might be a good choice. Then I need to submit another SRP for my primary ship, I guess.
Thank you for the outside perspective - it helps to improve the faction and its RP.
