This looks like the kind of valuable intelligence I was hoping for. Your sharing it with us is greatly appreciated - I will make sure the information is properly analyzed and put to good use. If we manage to 'source' remains of these Sentinels, I will have them made available to you once confirmed inert.
I just read the reports from Vigil-1 and Empress concerning yesterday's "events." I also received a report from Port Said.
It is time we cut the niceties and secrecy and for you to come clean with what you know about the Kepler anomalies, the unknown space they lead to, the Sentinels, and how they all relate to one another. I nearly lost one of my best men and another operative, and whatever the three of you did out there nearly resulted in the complete loss of one of our listening posts.
Dozens dead and dozens more injured. Several cruisers lost or crippled. An entire fighter wing wiped out. You had better convince me that you did not possess information that could have prevented this disaster had it been shared with us beforehand.
"Come clean"? Look, I'm sorry for what your guys went through in Kepler, and I'm even more sorry for /showing up/ in the nick of time! Yeah. People suffered. But it wasn't my fault. And do you know why? Port Said was /your/ fault. I told both Hayes and Vigil to stay away from any populated areas. I guess neither heard me now, I suppose!
Hawkins. You /don't/ choose where you end up in once you go through that Anomaly. And you definitely don't choose how long you stay there, or what happens after. I won't try to convince you about anything, because that's not my thing. You believe what you want, but know that /you/ could have prevented all of this if you could've taught your Operatives to listen to a /tool/ like me every once in a while.
Watch your tone or this /tool/ might just leave the same way it introduced itself. I'm telling you what I /know/, not what I /think/ I know. It never ends well with the latter.
Do not try to lay the blame on our operatives when you are the one who led them and the Sentinels to Sigma-21 in the first place. Recordings clearly show that Port Said came under attack before Vigil-1 and Empress approached.
If this is all you know, I would suggest you accelerate your research or finally accept the Order's offer of assistance to provide you with the resources you need. If an attack like the one on Port Said occurred in house space, the result would be a catastrophe. We cannot allow that to happen. We need to know what exactly we are fighting and how to do so effectively. This means we need your expertise - if you possess any.
It is only a matter of time before Overwatch wises up to just how precarious a situation Kepler and surrounding house space is in. And when they do, I am afraid they will take a far more aggressive approach towards solving the problem.
Do not mistake my irritation for a threat. But I have experienced often enough what wanton destruction Nomads are capable of to have little patience for anything that may stop us from preventing an even greater threat in the form of the Sentinels from descending upon mankind. We have neither the time nor the resources to allow any further misunderstandings and mistakes.
