You may remember that I previously mentioned some time ago about asking for future assistance on some work. That collaborative time frame has now appeared.

So, in short, we do have a research project on developing what one could call "hyperspatial stabilizers" --- to put it in really - really simple speak; think of it as a smaller jumpgate that shoots you further than usual. Now, a part of our problem we possess at the moment is man power, which is where I need to ask you for our assistance. Normally, I would allocate some more resources to this project, but other heads of the Directorate have their own pet projects at this moment of time, and I do not have the time nor the logistics to disrupt operations for such a large project.

If you wish to help out, I'm willing to meet up to speak more of this in person. I can also offer assigning you a unique encrypted relay for ease of information sharing if you believe that our relative distance will hinder progress, although I would much rather that some of your team would visit our homeland.

Oh right, rewards... There is some monetary reward involved for assisting. Unless you have other material desires...

A... smaller jumpgate? How would one even build such a thing? I think Albert would have been a better person to speak to, but since this message landed on my terminal, I'll take this request.

Since the rest of us aren't exactly... educated in the areas of creating jumpgates, or rather what's needed to even make them. It would be best to continue with the "really simple speak" so I know what I'm getting myself into.

I'm happy to try scramble resources together to help you with your project. If it's a particular item, I'm sure Rex will have some time to send a few units your way. If it's personnel, I'm sure Albert can reassign a handful of researchers to help you. Let me know exactly what you need and my team can organise it.

We're in no need of any financial compensation due to your generous grant. If something does come up that we'd like as a reward, I'll ask you if it's within reason to grant it to the Starfliers. Does that sound acceptable?
