The Deterrence, sometimes just DTR, or Ravenna's Chosen, are a quasi-military faction operating from the remote Edge Worlds. Originating from Planet Crete in Omicron Gamma - they have quickly risen to be a powerful organization in their own right. Following the teachings and guidance of their enigmatic leader, the group now holds a significant military presence and commands a large fleet of sizeable power.
Background
Despite the successes of the past and its rich history, the Corsair Empire's decadence and complacency proved difficult to stop. Even with the ultimatum given by the Elders in 828 AS, stalemates continued to be the norm. Embroiled in internal fighting between factions and multiple visions for what needs to be done, the Corsair society was dangerously fractured. While mobilization and hard labor were the new status quo, it did not yield a focused approach to domestic and external issues. This lack of resolution on so many fronts led to the contentious point of how effective, the leadership of the existing government really was. A particular zeal stirred in the youth, hungry for a meaningful change and opportunities. Intelligence suggests that Deterrence sought to fill in this particular void - many of its members being social and cultural ideologists, or revolutionaries.
Goals & Objectives
Most of the Deterrence's operations encompass the Omicrons and focus primarily on the reclamation of the Corsair's lost glory. Bringing a renewed sense of purpose, national strength, and unifying the various factions into a strong force.
Economy
Diversification of assets and compound interest are said to be the old world's wonders. Lessons that DTR seems to have adopted and taken to heart. A number of treaties with various interest groups have been made - from unlikely compatriots to rekindling old bonds. Executor Nagash has quickly reconnected with the traditional allies of the Corsairs, the Hogosha - highly likely in order to promote and continue exporting the highly valuable Xeno Relics. This could explain the quick military expansion of Deterrence, which have seen increased ship production and capital vessel deployment. Recent reports have seen an increase in smuggling artifacts and Hogosha ships have been spotted in Liberty by a few interested parties.
Military
Deterrence's fleet operates predominantly in the outskirts and edges of Sirius - Omicron and Omega Edge Worlds, but they have been sighted as far as Kusari. Tactical analysis of the strategies used by the Deterrence suggest that the Executor relies heavily on force concentration as a prevailing method - utilizing their greater numbers to compensate for their inexperience. Intelligence suggests that Ravenna Nagash will continue to use the size of her fleet to her advantage until her followers have acquired the necessary battle experience. Overwhelming the enemy whenever they can, retreating when on equal odds seems to be the modus operandi. Despite this tactic, recent reports however suggest the Executor has taken every step possible to facilitate and increase her fleet's combat effectiveness and experience.
Relations
While DTR's hold on Corsair space is significant, the organization seems to have a respectful approach and attitude towards other internal factions. ''History is built upon the sacrifices of those before us'' - the words of DTR's de-facto leader. Rumors circulate around the edge worlds that while some other internal factions remain, they are few and they've began to coordinate with Deterrence.
Intelligence reports on external DTR relations is scarce. Nevertheless, it is clear Ravenna Nagash has proven to be an apt negotiator and a solid diplomat. Relations between the Hogosha and Cryer Pharmaceuticals have been rekindled and are stronger than ever. Various interest groups have also backed up Deterrence in the pursuit of Xeno Relics, profitable ores, and other resources available at the edges of space. A number of collectors have expressed interest in experimental technologies - how and why the Executor has obtained such weaponry remains a closely guarded secret.
Previous tensions between Zoners are a thing of the past. A number of ships of Zoner origin have been seen entering and leaving Corsair space. A strong connection can be made to correlate the recent increase in agricultural resources and hydroponics.
Operatives have suggested the existence of a new found understanding between DTR and The Order. Details are next to none, but scouts report to have seen Corsair and Order ships flying together for an unknown purpose. Communications intercepted seem to point out to a potential connection with the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army. Whatever the case may be, it seems that Ravenna Nagash is busy finding like-minded individuals across Sirius for some unknown purpose.

Greetings
A little about myself and why I’d fit in:
I was born on Planet Crete on January 6th 802 AS to a family of merchants who ran a small equipment dealership, you all know the one, it had that old dog that never barked or did its job keeping an eye on the shop. One day, as they were doing a run to get supplies for their shop they were set upon by Outcast scum. My family was spaced by the scum when piloting their Serenity transport even after paying a passage toll. I sold the shop to and travelled around Sirius looking for Outcasts and Rogues to space, but that’s not enough for me anymore. I want to do more. I want to make them pay.
I was born in Crete planet, although I grew up in Omega 47.
I graduated in a Academia del Perdido in a special program Tactical Flight, designed to train pilots on how to use the craft environment and environmental smaller as asteroid fields to gain the upper hand in combat.
I bought a small ship of a Corsair dealer and started smuggle some product Crete for Liberty. When completeii twenty-six years old, I had a small fortune and flew with several ships, my favorite is the Titan. But finally a stroke of bad luck, I mus a business and lost part of what he had won with a lot of sweat. Now I think recover anything gaining financial credits and fame to fulfill commitments to the Corsair family.
This whetted my desire to venture me with you in the fulfillment of your contract whether of nature, protection of convoys and any other and thus discover new horizons and people, make new friends, etc.
Why do you want to join DTR: The reason why I chose to join me with you, first to love the Gamma system and the courage of our Corsair people struggling day to day against invaders and also seeking to get resources to support families dependent on every father, mother and children Corsair . For this above reason I would like to contribute by joining the DTR.
I was born in Cadiz Base - Omega-5 system. I grew up alongside of some kids who were sons of Corsair pilots so, my dream was and still is to become a respected Corsair Pilot.
I can't tell much of my childhood but my parents had a basic rule, "respect your brotherhood and respect yourself". I took it seriously and I am one pure example of respect so, how you can imagine, I hate when someone disrespects me or my family.
For all the Corsair fighters, it is my dream and my will to become a strong fighter like you, so receive my application with your hearts and make my dream come true.
