I recommend that you do one thing, no matter what else you do : pick a commercial affiliation, learn it backwards and forwards, and spend at least part of your time on a regular basis contributing to roleplay from that standpoint. Both the cops and the robbers depend on traders to provide something other than attacking each other as an activity, and playing that role well is probably the single most substantial contribution that anyone can make to server gameplay.

Well Ive been at it for a few days now and I have to say Im impressed with the level of RP that happens in areas on the server. Especially as one gets a little deeper out of the starting areas. Ive been pirated, extorted, fined by cops, busted by navy and run into a star even... all the while having a blast. Im very glad to have joined an look forward to a lot of good times in the Freelancer universe that breaths and bites back. Thanks again for the welcome and I cant wait to meet more of the people involved.
