SENDER:Hans Meier LOCATION:Koepchen Depot, Stuttgart SUBJECT:Intact equipment ENCRYPTION:High
To whom this may concern,
my name is Hans Meier and I'm the current administrator of the Koepchen Depot, which is located within Stuttgart.
Our Vorarbeiter Hans reported a visit of one of your captains a while ago:
[28.08.2024 22:44:28] (=)BLC-Blue.Uhlan: Hail Koepchen vessel.
[28.08.2024 22:44:41] Koepchen.Mining.Ship: Hans: Hallo Rheinlander
[28.08.2024 22:45:19] (=)BLC-Blue.Uhlan: Scrap field treating you well today?
[28.08.2024 22:45:42] Koepchen.Mining.Ship: Hans: To be honest, it's a waste field
[28.08.2024 22:45:58] (=)BLC-Blue.Uhlan: Well yes, that tracks with the whole ALG thing.
[28.08.2024 22:46:16] Koepchen.Mining.Ship: *tips his nose*
[28.08.2024 22:46:43] (=)BLC-Blue.Uhlan: If you ever dig up any more...
[28.08.2024 22:46:57] Koepchen.Mining.Ship: Hans: ja?
[28.08.2024 22:47:08] (=)BLC-Blue.Uhlan: Intact equipment, the Platform would be willing to offer a reward for bringing it to us.
[28.08.2024 22:47:54] Koepchen.Mining.Ship: Well, I keep that in mind
[28.08.2024 22:48:01] (=)BLC-Blue.Uhlan: We'll leave you to it then.
We have received a quite amount of blasters recently. We used them to run a little experiment to improve the mining laser of an Hegemon.
This experiment went horrible wrong and destroyed almost the half of the station.
I would like to get rid of the blasters. They are barely used, almost new and are in working condition. (This has already been checked by us)
I'd like to know, whether you want them? Otherwise I have to hand them over to the authorities.
Thank you for alerting us to this matter. As conscientious political actors, the safety and well-being of civilians is of prime concern to us, and the presence of malfunctioning equipment is a danger to all inhabitants of a free star system.
On behalf of the Damnatio Memoriae cell of the Platform, we would be most happy to take this dangerous and malfunctioning mining equipment off your hands. If you would be so kind as to permit our ship with the transponder (=)Fanal to moor at Koepchen Depot, the hazardous materials will be retrieved posthaste. I assure you that this action will not be traced back to you or your coworkers in any way.

the blasters are not malfunctioning. They were just ... insufficient to amplify the mining laser of said ship.
The docking access should be granted for your ship. Please contact me, should problems arise.
You'll find the blasters in the storage area now.
One last advice: Be aware of lawful patrols in the area.
There have been more of it in that area lately, than I would like.
I understand the current holiday season could be somewhat distracting. To encourage the Platform Bundschuh to get the blasters out of my station, I lowered the loading fee by 10 credits. I also added a neural net tracker, so you can check the amount on the station when you're in the area.
You will find half the amount of blasters now in New-Berlin. I shipped them myself from Koepchen to Kaiserslautern. Fortunately, the lawful patrols in Stuttgart were decreased, so it was easy to deliver the goods without incidents. I hope you don't mind, but I needed the space at the storage area. In addition, the harassment of the Rheinland police and the MND increases. So I fear the Rheinland authorities wouldn't understand me having these kind of tools at my station.
Please let me know, where I should send you the rest of the goods.
forgive me my late response, we are currently busy with renovating the Koepchen Depot. Every person is involved in this task, so it has taken a while until the info of the of the docking master reached me.
Fortunately it was not too late, we were already contacted about an incomming inspection ship a few hours after the last blaster was removed from the Depot.
I tried to send the storage fee to the (=)Fanal, as a ... donation for your appreciated work. But it seems it has not worked as expected.
Is there a chance to show my appreciation for your movement?
