my name is Renate Bommel and I'm part of ze Oberrat of ze Kaiserreichspolizei in Rheinland.
Ze Rheinland Polizei has intercepted a Rheinland Colossus wiz ze callsign Transport-748 yesterday on ze late evening. Ze train entered Rheinland space wiz a load of toxic waste. Zis is a violation of §3.3.1.
Ze captain in question was already confronted, regarding zis violation, at ze perimeter of ze Ulm Border Station.
He acknowledged ze violation of ze Rheinland laws and said he don't have enough credits on ze ships bank account to pay ze fine. Zis was believable at zis moment as ze ship storage contained only 4850 units of toxic waste.
As we will not allow ze contamination of Rheinlands largest food manufacturer nor ze pollution of Planet Baden Baden's holiday resort, ze captain was escorted to your station wizin ze cologne system and he docked.
Ze patrol officer as well as ze offender agreed up on a transfer of ze fine wizin 24 hours, ze offender also received a warning regarding §2.5.1.
Until now nozing is received. You zerefore now ordered to transfer ze fine of 48.500 sc for §3.3.1., as well as ze fine of 20.000 sc for §2.5.1. to KPR|Obt-Renate.Bommel.
I'm sure you're aware of zis incident as ze captain introduced himself as "Hans" during ze encounter.
If you won't respond to zis message or pay your fine wizin ze next week, I will personally ensure, zat §7.5. is enforced.

Sehr geehrte Frau Bommel,
I thank you for bringing this issue up. On the day you descripted we had done our first weekly business report, we are required to do. As result of it we transfered the main amount of credits to the Koepchen Depot. Our only transport got only a minimal portion of it, so I can keep a better track of the money flow.
I regret that this incident happened and we're working hard to earn enough cash so we can acquire a new ship.
I'm sure you implying that I was the captain of the transport - this is not the case. As you should know, the name 'Hans' is a very common one in Rheinland.
I transfered the payment for the wrong transportation of toxic waste to your account, but I ask if you can perhaps waive the additional fine?
As said, we're working on a new ship and this would put us back. I'm sure you would also approve if we get it as fast as possible, so such an incident won't happen again.
I'm not used to repeat myself, but I'll make an exception for you:
I do not care who flew zat ship; whether it was you or one of your employees is irrelevant for zis case.
You better don't bring me to ze idea to treat zis as corporate violation according to §2.7.
You've put ze people of Rheinland, as well as its economy, in great danger by shipping zis waste in a unsuitable ship. As your employee was aware of ze violation and yourself said you're working hard to get a new ship I interpret zis as ze violating was done intended. Zis is ze fine for §3.3.1.
As you agreed wiz ze officer to transfer ze fine due your "displacement of credits" wizin 24h and you failed to do zat, I see zat you exploited ze kindness of ze officer in question. Zis is not acceptable and you can be glad zat ze officer did not order ze pilot to drop ze cargo and destroy it in place. Zis behavior is considered as subversive conduct and your fine for §2.5.1.
Furzermore:
I don't zink ze outstanding fine of 20.000 sc will put you significant back for a ship which costs around 1.3 million credits and if such a violation happens again, you can expect a harsher treatment.
SENDER:Hans Meier LOCATION:Koepchen Depot, Köln SUBJECT:Transport-748 ENCRYPTION:Medium
Sehr geehrte Frau Bommel,
I transferred the outstanding fine and I assure that we get a suitable ship as fast as possible.
Your message regarding the subversive conduct is received and I'll ensure it won't happen again.
my name is Renate Bommel and I'm sure you remember me from our previous conversation.
Ze Rheinland Polizei has intercepted an ALG Golem Heavy Mover wiz ze callsign Koepchen.Merchant.Ship on friday, ze 26.04.843 at around 11:30 SMT. Ze transport entered Rheinland space wiz a load of toxic waste claiming to supply your ALG base wizin ze cologne system. Zis is, since zis week, a violation of §3.2.8.
I'm sure you are already aware of zis issue, but as I agreed, I explain zis to ze Koepchen Administration directly.
According to §3.2.8. it is not allowed for non-Rheinland corporations to transport supply goods to any modular installation. It doesn't matter neizer ze goods are purchased wizin ze empire nor if ze destination is in Rheinland house space. Ze captain of your ship was under ze impression, zat ALG is a Rheinland corporation and ze law does not apply to it. Zis is not ze case - since ze civil war, ALG is considered as indepedent corporation; §3.3.2. confirms zis, it only identifies
as Rheinland corporation. Zerefore your ship needs a permission to supply toxic waste to ze Koepchen Depot (as well as to supply ze Falster station wiz Mox). The captain of ze ship was not able to provide such a permission, consequently ze shipping of goods wizout permission is handled in §3.1.3., which declares ze cargo as contraband.
Your luck is, zat §3.1.1.1. consideres ALG in ze context of restricted goods as Rheinland corporation and §2.2.3. confirmes, zat even if ze toxic waste would be considered as contraband, you'd have permission to transport ze goods.
As result only ze 50.000 sc according to §3.2.8. were levied for not having ze respective permission to supply a modular installation. Zis fine is independent of ze cargo space of ze offending persons ship. I also have no ability to waive zis fine, as ze law clearly demands ze fine in any case.
Please forward ze fine to KPR|Bank wizin ze next week.
I'd recommend to apply for such a permission at ze respective office of ze Rheinland Ministry of Economic Development.

Sehr geehrte Frau Bommel,
I still protest, that your law change was not publicly announced in the communication channel!
I'm also not a fan of your decission to restrict cargo transports to my base and my clients.
There is one thing I would like to make completely clear: I am not going to stand for your action you made against me.
I transferred your monetary demand to the account you requested.

Sehr geehrter Herr Meier,
I proudly notify you, zat ze Rheinland Polizei returns to ensure ze Cologne system stays civilised.
We'll now continue patrolling ze system, regulate trade wizin zat system and protect all friendly ships against evil terrorists.
Please note, during a transitional phase, ze charges (according to Rheinland law §7.1.) of your bases wizin ze system are defered.
my name is Renate Bommel and I'm sure you remember me from our previous conversation.
Her highness, ze Kurprinzessin zur Neckar and Direktorin of ze Kaiserreichspolizei, Freiya Wolf, empowered me to remind you about your responsibilities as administrators of ze following modular installation registry entries:
By imperial edict of ze Rheinland Ministry of Economic Development, all modular installation owners have to submit zeir quarterly license renewal to ze Rheinland.Treasury.2 since ze 1st july 828 A.S. and until today, I'm failing to locate ze payment for ze above mentioned entries for ze actual quarter. Direktorin Wolf is very disappointed by lack of discipline shown by a Rheinland corporation regarding zis matter.
As result of ze missed fee for ze current quarter, ze Rheinland Polizei hereby impose an additional fine of 100.000 sc according to §7.10..
During a routine inspection today, I also noticed, zat ze structural integrity of your base is degrading. Please be advised, my superiors won't go easy on zat matter. It is intolerable, zat an installation, which sole purpose is ze removal of an active reactor, is decaying. I encourage you, to resolve zis issue as fast as possible. As I told you already:
(12-16-2023, 11:50 PM)rwx Wrote: [...] we will not allow ze contamination of Rheinlands largest food manufacturer nor ze pollution of Planet Baden Baden's holiday resort [...]
You may treat zis as a warning according to §2.5.3.
Furzermore, your modular installation registry entry deviates from ze truz.
Ze Koepchen Depot is not located in Stuttgart sector B2 ; it is located in sector C2 .
(see ze attached data for evidence)
Zis is an violation of §7.1.1.6. and I levy a fine of 50.000 sc according to §7.3.
Please request an update for your entry as soon as possible in ze respective channel.
(Side note: Ze processing fee still applies)
Please provide ze proof of transfer of:
500.000 sc as quarterly fee to Rheinland.Treasury.2
150.000 sc as fine to KPR|Bank
for ze forz quarter of zis year wizin ze next 14 days via zis channel.
If you already transferred ze fee, ze fine will be, of course, dropped.
SENDER:Hans Meier LOCATION:Koepchen Depot, Stuttgart SUBJECT:Koepchen Depot - Q4/834 ENCRYPTION:Medium
Sehr geehrte Frau Bommel,
the Koepchen Depot suffered some minor damage, when we tested a method to penetrate the hull of the Karlsruhe with the laser of our mining ship.
A chain reaction inflicted harm to the stations outer shell; but this is nothing you've to be worried about.
I transfered the needed fee as well as the other money you were asking for.
Regarding the location: Don't you think it's a bit harsh to make me pay another 500.000 credits to update the entry?
I'm happy to see you were able to transfer ze requested amount in time.
Why should I consider it harsh? If you would have provided ze correct information ze first time, zere wouldn't be a need to correct ze entry.
But fine, zere are always possibilities to avoid bureaucratic hurdles.
Ze previouse owner of ze Koepchen Depot, Adam Linhardt, once made a request to ze Rheinland Polizei concerning ze Olpe wreck.
He was offering to rebuild ze station. Like for many ozer tasks, zere was never a response. I assume ze station has already decayed so much, zat a reconstruction would be extremely uneconomical. So ze idea is to remove ze station completely. Since ze Rheinland Polizei now continues patroling ze system, zere will be a time, when somezing new is needed. We should make place for zat.
Herr Linhardt asked for a quarterly fine waiver, which is, fortunately, exactly ze sum you're complaining about unwilling to pay.
Zerefore I suggest ze following:
You remove around 150.000 units of scrap metal in ze next 6 monzs to deconstruct ze station.
If you melt ze scrap to basic alloy, I'm sure your stations hull problem will be gone fast.
A furzer advantage of zis would be ze increased production of basic alloy, which will come in handy in ze near future.
I guess your offer for supplying Rheinland Polizei bases is still valid?
