Theres a perfectly good reason why there is no pirating in capital ships. Its hardly fair on traders when they get out of a trade lane to find a huge heavily armed behemoth of a ship empty every salvo and turret into what are essentially very weak craft. If capships were allowed for pirates we'd get traders complaining instead of pirates. Pirates complain because its an inconvenience not to kick ass. Traders would complain because it would be impossible to go anywhere without certain death waiting at every trade lane. Its hard enough repelling pirate fighters in freighters, never mind a full blown gunboat/battleship/cruiser/frigate (delete as applicable)
