Registering for the Forums

I met someone in-game who has registered multiple times, but his account is not activating.

Something odd is going on. My forum account has gone, again, its like last time it just says "Sorry, we could not find a member using those log in details." And I'm sure they are the right details.

He has registered multiple times since this past Thursday. When I look for the account using the search tool, the account name does not exist.

If an admin is willing to help, or knows the cause of this problem, please send me a private message.

hmm i had to wait about 2 days for Igiss to fix/approve my forum account....its some kind of bug if i remember correctly.

have him contact an admin, or have him not try to reregister until his first one is made.

I can confirm this problem, happened to me two times since I had to redo my account after a year or so and I'm often contacted by people who can't register on forums asking me to send PM to admins because they can't due to the validation status.
Basically if you don't use Skype or similar (or go ooc in game with someone already registered), you're stuck at this point.
You can only try again and pray, not many people have that patience once they read "account does not exist" for the third time, they may just say a word I won't reproduce here and move on to something else.

Apparently the account gets deleted by the system (I doubt someone is deleting it on purpose) before it can be approved.
If this could be solved once and for all I'm sure the results may be very helpful to the community as a whole.

This struck me too... but then I realised I used a different log in name to my forum handle. Problem solved, for me at least.
