Well, Bowex doesn't really have to to give you anything outside the treaty. We've settled the terms which involves us giving the Zoners oodles of cash in return for leasing Port Jackson for ten years. We won't give you lot a Shire because we don't trust you with guns.

Besides, tell the Whale pilot the Shire is inferior when a marauding bomber is sailing through his burning wreckage, only to be routed by the Shire's 12 turrets.:P

Which is it? Power Gaming or Meta Gaming? In truth Zoner's supplying Corsairs as well as everyone else in Sirus can't be a well protected secret, also the QCP is a thinly veiled secret BAF organisation, so everyone's suspicions are correct :laugh:

Power gaming...meta gaming...same damn thing!I don't suppose you have been to a Freeport lately. Anyone on it is supplied by Zoners just by being there. Corsairs, Outcasts, BMM (FP1) Bowex (FP1), Synthe Foods (FP2), Unioners...I could go on.

But if you look at these bogus bounties being posted, not one includes a reason. They include only a price.

A good RP opportunity? I only somewhat agree. I'm starting to fully understand why Mal left.
Now, I have a real life to live. A 20 year marriage to a woman I love deeply and a 22 year aviation career fixing anything that flies that I love as much that consumes my week. I don't have time to deal with the constant meta gaming/powergaming going on.

True I suppose, although it'd certainly be nice of you guys to sell us a couple. Not to mention the fact that we have more than enough guns as it is - most of which are much more lethal than six pairs of 1K damage at... 2.00 fire rate? And besides all that, we have plenty of blackmail with however many zillions of people you're planting on GC.

In effect, we have Bretonia by the kibbles and their affiliated bits. Either Kusari blasts them (the refugees) to smithereens or (not saying that it would/should) the Zoners could hollar for a Shire or two or else Jackson's reactor might... Overreact. *rim shot*

I suppose it'd depend on a case-by-case basis. We're not going to give Zoners Shires, just because they want them and feel we are obliged to. Even if we did sell them, it'd be full price (or possibly over it). Also, wiping out the hostages would see a stunningly realistic reenactment of the Cork bombings take place on Gran Canaria. Damn international image - that's revenge:P

Also, I learned my lesson Blunt. I'll be warier next time I see that gunboat. And it's reinforcements...

That is kind of a good point to be made. The worst part is my Zoner bounty idea was horribly undercut because I was still doing that whole RP thing related to it. It was still quite a ways away, even. Though I guess I was spared some bitching this way (Only 1 angry PM so far!).
