Well, neither I have any Libertonian characters, nor do I visit Liberty frequently. Rheinland has more RP at a far higher level. I might try out Kusari in the future, but Rheinland is the stronghold of serious RP, most of the time. Most factionized and lolcaps are handled pretty quick.
Both Liberty and Rheinland have good RP, but also disastrous fail situations sometimes. As well as Kusari and Bretonia. I guess we should rather generalize that, instead of nominating ourselves:P
So, in honour of this thread, I flew around New York for the first time in ages. Of course I get pirated on my second tradelane. Good thing I was a Roc.
I can see the appeal in it. I'd gone there because I'd just scoped out Bretonia and Rheinland, and both were totally dead. I go down two tradelanes in New York and I have a little fight for myself.
I mean ultimately, it's the quick fix. I turned up, shot two guys, logged off. They even roleplayed well, to be honest. Bit shocked really. But basically it was breath in the wind. No effort playing. Which some people are here for, so fair play in that respect. But still, other systems are SO dead, it's a bit silly adding more and more.

You see this is what I am really talking about here. I've had tons of really good role play in New York. There are, of course, times when there are spams of lollercaps and people who don't understand the purpose of our server. Take those times as an opportunity to hopefully help someone to realize what is expected here. That way they might start trying to be better instead of being angry at all the people who end up calling them losers or idiots. At the very least they won't be surprised when they get sanctioned if someone has already told them what they are doing wrong.
All that said though, I really think some people dramatize what actually happens in New York because of a few bad experiences, yet I've had the same percentage of bad experiences everywhere in Sirius...they just happen more often in New York since there are more people but overall most the players there are decent.
