I've been trying to stay away from these threads about the Apocolypse Wing and it's been relatively easy to do so, I've only ever seen any of their ships from a distance, so I've never really had any contact with them in game.
I read the sanction handed out Admin Notice: Role Play Intervention, Apocalypse Group becasue of the way it was posted and thought it was pretty harsh and whatever was done must have been pretty bad for this to happen to them.
I don't know what happened, but I get the feeling it happened over a period of time, not in a 'spur of the moment' thing and that it must have been 'hurting' the RP of the server for a *lot* of people.
Not knowing the Admins really well, but understanding that very few major decisions (and this HAD to be a major desicion) of this type would be made by a single Admin, I also realise that there would have been quite a discussion about what exactly to do in order to 'punish' the Apocalypse Wing as a whole.
I can imagine that a few of the Admins would have to have been talked around to aggreeing on the punishment in question.
The thing is, it's happened, the thing is done, hopefully the people involved have learned that there are things you just don't do and if you do them anyway, you have to face the consequences.

The Apoc group, as outlined in the sanction, was given the treatment it received due entirely as repercussions for your in game actions. Between the Bounty Hunter pilots, Order pilots, mercs and freelancers in GMG bombers, Outcast gunships, Order carriers, Hunter ships of all sizes and so on you have proceeded to kill, piss off and generally alienate yourselves in the face of every single group in the region.
On top of, yes still, docking on Freeports to recharge you basically decided to "claim" a derelict Zoner planet as your base of operations, from which you would manage to somehow maintain a capfleet with which to Engagaging the locals to your hearts content.

This is a ROLE-PLAY server, not a PvP server. We (the BHG|Core) role-played our jobs and mission. Welcome to consequences for your actions. You want to go be a warrior only - knock yourself out on a PvP server. You want to be an actor - which is what is REQUIRED here? Please feel free to join in the fun!
