So what if it is domination? The IMG controls the northern half of the mining assets, and that's just that. Been like it since vanilla. And why don't you see the IMG complaining that mining assets in Bretonia are dominated by the BMM? Why don't you see the IMG complaining about the fact that the BMM base in Tau-23 has been standing for years, though it has been out of supply lines for years and, in-RP, would be conquered a long time ago by Kusari and the Colonial Remnant, before this ceasefire from the Colonial side happened?
And I do not see where the accusations you speak of are. I was speaking of facts, my friend. I do not see how a satisfactory solution for all sides is to take away from the IMG side and give to the other one. I really do not.
You claim to have an impartial view of the situation, while mine is clouded by my selfishness and whatever else, while I've already said that what Akura up there drew up isn't that bad. But what I AM against is what you said, which is utterly moving away the mining field from Java, which is preposterous.
Why would the IMG build a base away from a mining field which had no bases near it to speak of at the time of Java's construction? Face the music, the BMM got there last, the IMG has a firm grip on the situation, and that's how it stays, unless you can think of in-RP reasons at how the situation would be altered.
This is before your time on your server, but we were in the same situation a lot of times, only it was in reverse, and we were never given anything, despite our repeated attempts to rebalance the situation, and we did not force anything, because the BMM faction complained about it, and we accepted their complaints because they are their prerogative and because we can't just take stuff from people randomly.
Furthermore, I am seeing a very unhealthy pattern of behavior from your side, I must say. Your aggression, complemented by the aggression of some people from the side of your rivals, fuels the fire of the "OORP Tau conflict" even more.
What you need to comprehend is that other people also want what's best for themselves, and that you cannot just take without giving anything.
Quote:We have equally valid opinions, your want the ore concentrated for your own OoRP solution to the problem.
By what definition is it 'my own' and 'OORP'? Can you please point out any fallacies in previous post addressed to you and your argumentation, or will you just keep saying things without backing it up with argumentation?
Finally, it simply seems to me that little constructive discussion can be had with you. You don't have a very impressive track record in the Taus, from what I've managed to gather from your posts on these forums, and obviously hold very personal grudges. I looked past that, hoping there's something of another kind written in the book, unlike its covers, but it just seems that all your pages are very much the same.

<span style="color:#000000">All morons hate it when you call them a moron.
Don't throw the "I have been here longer than you" Rubbish up there.
I am familiar with the situation, and I can clearly see your hostility to the situation.
And you are right, the situation in Tau-23 should be rectified. But I don't agree that your method, or the method proposed is the solution.
Again, I am glad that your Superiorly unbiased opinion is better than mine.
You talk of my aggression, I am watching your own aggressive tone there, bud. I don't appreciate your accusations at all.
I am warning you for the last time, cut it out.
With regard to the T31GCS what you fail to note is that that base is supplied in RP by its operations... but then, that is our RP and not really open for your debate, thankfully.
I am glad you enjoy your arbitrary viewpoint that your rivals do not get a say in this system. But, and this is the great thing Swift, I have the right to speak out as I am fairly sure your Mod status, and your Admin status are not approved and you do not have the authority to shut my opinion down.
Now that is settled.
There needs to be balance in this system, or else what is the point to it?
The mining, right now, is unfairly slanted towards the IMG, so much so that it is a prime source of hostility.
The CR exploit this repeatedly.
The position of Java is being used as a bastion to fortify a minable resource for one faction. A resource that should, by the info cards of the system, be available to other factions.
This needs to be changed.
I stand by this
Move the fields, or create new ones that are not close to Java station, and thus not selfishly guarded by the IMG. I agree, maybe more mining fields lower in the system... to fit with the BMM exploration there, sure. But then if the fields are set up as they are, that means a new one gets to be moved... and look that means it is moved away from Java!
As for the rest of Bretonia, we aren't debating that, in case you failed to note the topic of the thread.
Another solution that could end all this and vastly improve the system is:
The devs and admins can deplete the fields in Tau 23 (Like what was done in Penny). Thus everyone loses and wins equally. No more bickering. People are forced to actually leave their comfort zone. Certain people don't run into each other all the time. Traffic is reduced. More people in other systems. Yadda Yadda the list goes on.
It didn't solve all of Liberties problems but it darn sure improved them drastically.
Though I highly suspect this is already steadily creeping up on the admins list of things to do.
