First of all, I'm having a blast, the ones who created this mod are genious, and you have my thanks for that, I never thought FL would be so active after all these years.
I have a few questions though:
First: I have a freelancer ID (started playing yesterday) and hauling goods with a Pelican Armored Transport.
If someone from the police/navy tells me to stop, I will do so because they are the law.
But what if my trade lane is disrupted or I'm exiting a tradelane, continuing my path to he next lane or jumpgate, and a pirate tells me to stop, do I have to obey that command?
Also I'm pretty sure that by the time they state their demands I'll be long gone, docked with the trade lane or jumped to another system, is that considered fleeing from PvP?
One other thing is that I'm neutral to most of the factions: all the house police and navy, aswell as all commercial companies and even some pirate groups.
The thing is that I encounter Liberty Navy Guard who show as red, and it scares the hell out of me when exiting a tradelane and there is this huge battleship with a red tag in front of me:P
What's up with that?
I've read that player ID's are the ones to be looked at first, how do I know wether or not the ID is hostile towards me ??
These questions may sound stupid to you veterans but I really don't know what to do with them, so I apologise in advance:)
Thank you,
AbraX

Well, your choice but mind that no rule demands you to do so.

See above. Your choice in both cases.

In short, no. If he manages to down half your shield, he did engage you but since you're trading, you are exempt from the 4 hour rule.

Nothing really... Just the way guard IDs work.

If in a faction, just look up your faction's diplomacy on Wiki or such... If a freelancer, usually pirates are the "enemy", but not with some contraband their faction is interested in. (For instance, when hauling Cardimine, Outcasts and their allies will probably leave you alone)

Not at all.
Thank you,

No problem. Answers in bold white. Hope that helps.
One additional thing - make sure that your secondary character has at least 10 minutes activity on it, or you won't be able to transfer money to it. Also keep in mind that the /restart command can be your friend in setting up someone quickly.
And lastly - don't try to trade with both of your characters at the same time. That's considered cheating here and will get your characters deleted.
