The reason they weren't, I think, is becuase the Nyx is going CR and the IMG's getting a new VHF in the next version.

So odds are if you get a Nyx out of them now, you'll have to either switch for the new ship or ask CR to grandfather it in for you.

As far as I'm concerned, IMG is incredibly lenient on the basis they approve tech.
