If you guys want to take the time to do it, this is a good template that my old server used to use for Friday Night Fight club.

It's and old tradition there, so we know the rules work if they are implemented.

Any questions, feel free to ask for clarification.
Also, feel free to use these and to make any changes you deem necessary.


"One of my personal favorites first started by Illy (and most certainly NOT oRs, myself, Ein, nor Torch). If you can't make the 9pm time feel free to show up late, you can join in at any point.

Rules are as follows :

The first two fighters will be picked at random by the host, and the winner will be classed as the default champion. From then on the proceedings will be set by the players themselves;


Anybody may challenge the Champion, Minimum bid to fight will be - 250k

The highest bidding challenger will face the champion.

If the challenger wins the fight he will retain his bid and become the Champion (to then face other challengers).

If the challenger loses the fight, he loses his money to the Champion, and has to wait at least one match before challenging again.

At no point does the current Champion lose any money for being knocked off the top during a challenge. (UNLESS they have made a private bet)

If there are no challengers, the champion will get to choose an opponent to fight for a 250k bet. If the chosen opponent refuses to fight they will be ejected from the event. After all, were all gonna be there to risk some money.

Betting between players watching the fights is encouraged (and most of the fun), but any arguments or disputes that may arise MUST be sorted out by the betting players outside of the system, and not interfere with the proceedings.

If there are enough people, we can do teams of 2 vs 2.

The event will last for approx 2 hours, and instead of crowning someone "King of the hill" (Person with longest Champion Streak) - I'm going to run a "Last Man Standing" instead. Winner of Last Man Standing will get a random cash prize.



* Additional Rules *

Anybody is welcome providing you have some cash and want to risk some.
No bats or bots during the duel.
No F1 during the duel for any reason.
All weapons/ships allowed.
Weapon/ship/character changes are allowed, unless you are the current champion.

I'd like to ask all players interested to leave any problems and attitude at the door. Anyone flamebaiting or flaming will not recieve a prize, will not be allowed to participate in the rest of the event, and will not be refunded.
I'd also like to ask not to shoot other players just because they're Hunters/Pirates. Anyone is welcome at the event - as long as they behave.


Also remember that even if you can't make it at 9:00pm the event still goes on for a couple of hours so feel free to show up later and participate.

In future at the events - I reserve the right to accept ANY bid placed. I.e, Someone bids 5 mil, someone else bids 5.2 (etc), then I reserve the right to accept the 5 mil bid if I find out that person was just bidding to raise the bid, not wanting to fight

As you all probably know, there are quite a few players on the server who never come to the forums, and their only knowledge of the fightclub is when someone does random console messages. Can you please let your friends/associates/clan members know, and randomly spread the word."

I personally like the idea. Needs some good organizer though.

It would be nice to do it on the PVP server but it'll mean a lot of problems for the people that want to transfer ships/equipment + we do have Connecticut right? It's almost never used for anything, so it'll perfectly fit for this one. Lawfulls can come trough liberty space while unlawfulls can come trough Alaska/Minor. I think it'll be possible to write an RP for it. Also participants should stick with the RP equipment (as with their normal characters) otherwise all fights will be almost the same.
