Possible Names: Tau Rebellion, Tau Militia, Sirius Rebellion, Sirius Militia

Story: With the Invasion of the tau's by Gallic forces, And with the currentsituation in tau's, group of IMG, Bretonians, And Kusarians banded togetherdespite there past relations and difference to combat a common enemy. Many ofthe Kusari members either do not trust there new neighbors or believe Kusariwill not benefit from a alliance with "gaijin". The Bretonian members comingto peace with there new kusarian allies for the hope that this alliance maysave there homeland. The IMG, who have made there home in the tau's seejoining this new pact as a way to fight back against their oppressors.Under a single banner they join together to fight a common, and deadly, opponent.

ships: what ever they could get there hands on and what little the councilcould supply them, so civilian and council ships, mostly using fighters andbombers. very few gunboats and maybe a cruiser supplied by the council.

this is just a small idea i had when watching "Halo Legends" (lolz) if enough of you like it i could make it, but i would go best with its own ID.

You know...

GRN fleet is supposed to be so brute, that such "rebels" wouldn't stand any chance against them. IMG decided to cooperate with GRN (by Igiss's story for .86) in order to prevent being erased from map of Sirius. Kusarians refused to decrease their hostility towards Bretonia, so i dont think they would ally with any of Bretonians. Bretonia corporations are probably gonna run away from Taus. There would just too much casualties they cannot afford.

Off topic: Halo legends huh? I've been looking for some source, where i could DL them from. Any ideas?

The IMG would rather serve Gallia than by exterminated. So would House Kusari. The part of the KNF stuck in Leeds isn't ready to lay down arms yet, nor are the BAF.

In other words, this rebellion already exists, it's just split across a few NPC factions. If you want one cohesive rebellion, you're not going to find it- this is bigger than that.

Also, join the Maquis. We have cupcakes (freshly stolen from IDF transports).

Yup. If you wanna be a partisan, and destroy GRN prides of their army, with agility, speed and courage, Brotherhood of Maquis is faction of your choice.

Quote:The IMG were not forced to assist the advancing Gallic forces, militarily or otherwise, but they had an obligation to avoid attacking or even approaching the ships of Gallia, either military or civilian, under threat of severe retribution. The IMG were forced to agree to Gallia's terms mainly because of its overwhelming superiority in numbers. While having no intentions to violate the pact in the near future, most of the Guild considers it to be invalid due to Gallia's use of force, compelling them to agree against their will. It is a common belief that the IMG only abide by the deal to ensure the safety of their properties in the Taus

some IMG are not happy about being forced into a peace treaty. They might see fighting the GRN as a way to protect there way of life and property in the tau's for the future, since currently the space is under gallic control.

Quote:According to unconfirmed reports, Kusari companies were also granted rights to trade with Gallia and go to any Gallic systems after purchasing special passage permission and insuring their cargo with Gallic companies.

Traditionalist kusarians (mainly people on Kyushu as well as the farmers alliance) don't like to have "gaijin" influence on there country. they might see fighting back would be a way to help there nation recapture the tau's.

Quote:Therefore, it demands free passage to all planets, stations, and systems of Bretonia for Gallic military and civilian ships and personnel, complete surrender of Bretonian military forces to the Gallic Royal Navy, the dismissal of all current bodies of power, and the installation of a Gallic Viceroy on New London as a new head of state. The Viceroy would be Charles XI's younger brother, Guillaume Valois-Clermont, Duke of Alencon.

Well, since Gallia obviously demanded that bretonia surrenders that might be the obvious reason to fight back.

Quote:Kusari ships that did not have time to escape had no other choice but to unite with the Bretonia Armed Forces and set up allied defensive positions within the asteroid fields.

and yes, this is a good example of the faction, and could even go into the role play of it if this idea ever becomes real, since currently this is just a idea.

Count me in! And here is stated that the old Kusari Imperator and part of the Kusari invasion forces are cut by GRN in Bretonia and that they would fight GRN to the death together with Bretonians- the |Ronin . It is interesting concept.
Marquis come from Gallia, people in Sirius don't know them so I am not sure that Sirians will work with them, depends on the both side diplomacy. The idea is good and it will be fun,
