If you would put less Ork and more pirate or Liberty Rogue (the Ork and LR symbol are quite close in comparison) into your group/faction idea, then it might work better with the Freelancer universe;)

Indeed, you always come up with some good idea like hybrid people with enhanced biology and animal instincts- like evolved monkeys or humans infested with animal genes in order to make them with better reflexes and drawback like bad brain functioning and being brutal. You dont really need orks.. it sucks and it is not Warcraft.
