Yeah. I used to play on the TnB servers for Half-Life, Stalker, and Terminator roleplay. Community was full of elitist pigs, but the things they did with their servers were just plain cool.

I were talking to Linkus about this few months ago. But we were discussing about modding Battlefield 2142 for real-time planetary battles. All battles would be related to current Disco diplomatic situations/events and etc. Plus, some spaceships maps would make great experience too.

Folks, the storyline world that we base disco on is the Freelancer universe. The rights to the lore and the background belong to Microsoft and I doubt they would allow a mod using their intellectual property to be put out.

Honestly, as long as its an ancillary addition to Discovery mod, doesn't involve money changing hands, etc., it's just another cross-over mod, like recreating Star Wars in Freelancer. Considering that it would be ancillary to Disco, it's even less than a cross-over mod. No one would care, because no money would be involved and no one would claim any rights.
