Encrypted: Access to USI, BMM- To the Executives of Universal Shipping Incorporated,
It has been a while since we last spoke, As far as i recall, USI was interested in a gold ore shipping contract with the upper caste of BMM. As promised, We have stepped up to the plate, and have prepared a special contract for your company.
Be advised, this note is a draft. If the USI board of directors feels the contract doesn't meet their needs, they should draft up their own contract and discuss it with BMM.
Contract 1: Mining
1:1 - BMM- and USI agree that the transfer price of gold ore in dublin will be 50% of the buying price of Detroit munitions. 1:2 - As the price of gold changes, so will the transfer price of gold ore. BMM will notify USI of such changes. 2: Shipping 2:1 USI will ship gold ore to Liberty locations. They must inform BMM where their gold ore cargo is headed.
3: Security 3:1 - During a mining operation, BMM agrees to supply USI with security if a USI ship joins its ranks to collect gold ore. 3:2 - BMM will not escort USI out of Bretonia, but may take the luxury of ensuring that USI clients exit Dublin safely. 3:3 - if USI has any spare escorts with a given shipper, they agree to lend their services to the mining operation. This will help ensure the Shipper's survival if it chooses to scoop ore directly from BMM mining ships.
I await your response,
- Rick Astley
BMM Director of Mining Operations
Hello Mr.Astley,
Firstly let me say it is nice to talk to you after this long time. Indeed we were (And still are) interested in this contract. However at that time we were undergoing structural changes within USI, and I now find myself as head, as Mr.Trenton has stepped down (And I now suspect he is on some remote Island chain on Manhatten).
But I suppose today you are here to talk business, and let me apologise for the delayed response, it sometimes takes awhile for my division Chiefs to process. However I let them decide it, and they both agree to your terms entirely, and I find the chance to buy BMM gold liberating.
So now, I present to you the signed contract.

---Subject: Addendum to the current contract?---
I am reopening this communications channel in the hopes that we can further increase the workings between Bretonian Mining and Metals and Universal Shipping as a whole. And in the end the Bretonian government and the Liberty government.
In our current contract, we leave behind escorts to cover you for your mining operations, if we have some spare. However what I would like to propose is an addition to the current contract. We could move several security ships to a BMM base to provide security all the time. Hence a wing in Dublin, there to aid in defense of miners, and destruction of anything that the BMM deems a threat to their operations. We know that Dublin can be rough, I have flown there myself, and I can vouch for that.
So the workings of the deal would be a bit like this.... We would move several ships to Dublin, Grave station more specifically. These ships would act as security personnel for mining and defense, they would also act to destroy any threats at the BMM's command.
What we want from this deal:
Space enough on Graves for a wing of fighters, and a transport ship. Including a hangar and repair amenities.
A small decrease in ore pricing for USI as a whole. this price would fluctuate in accordance to the amount of security being provided.
Monetary payment to any security ships that assist the BMM. Prices should be discussed before assistance is give to avoid troubles afterwards.
We at BMM have reviewed and found merit in your proposition. Before making a final decision on the matter, we have determined that Your Security wing needs to be evaluated before we sign a new contract.
We have cleared some Room in Graves station for your personnel to dock for evaluation. We will use a different channel for communicating the time of this evaluation.
Though we were going to do this in a week, we might as well sign it now to avoid confusion. The above contract that you signed two weeks ago, is now confirmed by myself, and signed.
After seeing how your pilots par, I'm pleased to announce that we approve of your request.
Due to the fickle nature of this agreement, I feel that it wouldn't be healthy to change our current contract other than reducing prices in goodwill in exchange for your security services. To keep things simple, We wont change anything in paper. If you feel that your efforts in graves are not appreciated enough, you will not be bound contractually to withdraw your forces.
The BPA and Bowex both have bounty boards that pay for dead mollies. BMM- will give an extra bonus for slain molly miners, notably the MMC. Feel free to commandeer their ships or ore. We just want them out of the fields.
Expect to see lower Ore prices from now on.
Oh. You can tell your security pilots that they are welcome for a couple of drinks at the Thames bar. I'm sure some of us will be impressed at your upcoming exploits.
Regards,
-Rick Astley
