Presto, big ships take big damage, small ships take small damage. It makes sense given that big ships don't belong in asteroid fields anyway.
The CR gonna love that in the taus, when they're trying to cruise anywhere in a Zephyr. Or the outcasts moving a battleship to the sigmas via omicron beta. Or the Nomads moving a marduk from Dur Shuriken to, well, anywhere.
However, I'm hopeless at fighting in rocks. Can't do it... They screw up my slides and every mini razor I fire hits one of those annoying tiny floaty rocks. I bounce off rocks in fighter brawls accidentally all the damned time. Not through trying to dodge, but just because my style works in open space, but doesn't work in rocks.

Some factions with battleships have no choice. They have battleships available to them and all their bases are either in rocks, or you have to move through rocks to get to them.
