oh, it wasn't the militarized data i was after. it was anything that you wanted us to know, anything that could help us out that i was after. I'm not after things that may jeopardize your way of doing things.
*Loraine sighs for a moment*
I personally don't speak for the rest of the Battlegroup, but i know that when it come to the Dom K'vosh, The Order are THE people to see. The order were first on the scene with what happened back in the war, and i have a very great respect for you's. Another interest, materialist as it may be, is that I'm crazy for technology, that's how i got my job i guess. The order have some of the best tech. in my opinion, which is another reason why i was so eager to come and meet you, and to see if you stood up to all my expectations. even though I've only been here for a very short time, and i don't know if this is all for show, which i doubt, you's have met and surpassed what i imagined you's to be. ever since i entered Sirius space, I've heard both good and bad things about you, and i firmly believe the good holds alot more truth in it then the negative. I...I hold you in such high esteem...
*Loraine ponders for a moment*
the point of me saying all this is so that you are assured that i'm not here to just try and grab and go. i don't intend on using The Order for anything, as i seem to have blown you up as a collective role model of sorts...if you get what i mean...i seem to be mincing words a lot, but...i just want to be clear on that...
in saying that...
*loraine turns off the headset. the blue writing on her visor over her left eye minimize, then switch off, followed by the screen slding back into the metal component that follows Loraine's natural jawline*
As a friendly question, and completely off the record. do you think that there was ever a possibility that the battlegroup could become a close and trusted friend of The order. i dont just mean a few trades here and there, shared tech, or anything materialist like that. that's for our respective governing people to figure out. i mean, cooperation, and all the stuff that actually matters.
I have just returned, so I'm still catching up in info, $ and skills once again.
*She looks up, appearing startled by the sudden question*
Personally I do believe, and hope, that we will become closer friends. But sometimes reality just doesn't play out that way. The Order is split up into two separate divisions, the Orders fleets which handle the spy network and combat, and then there is the Science Division which covers logistics, engineering, and research. I can foresee the OSD and the Corona Battlegroup having a prosperous future together but I can't really say anything about the combat division.
What Commander Staite has been searching for recently is trading partners, that is probably your groups best chance of getting on the Orders good side with our other allies.
*She stands up from her seat, getting a bit closer to Loraine before placing her hands on her shoulders*
I'm sure everything will be fine, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
*she smiles, tilting her head to the side in a slightly cheerful gesture*
Well, between you, me, and our respective teams, we should be able to accomplish a lot. my team even has a few jar-heads i managed to reign in.
*Loraine smiles at the joke*
But anyway, while I'm here, I'll defer to you. if you need my expertise or skills on any projects, I'm able and willing. I can even the The Tesla ... well, whats left of it anyway... to meet somewhere or here, and bring some of my projects and team here, to better allow cooperation between us. allow a bit of co-development and what not.
*Loraine's headset flickers back to life*
I can give you a dossier of the personnel that are in my team if you are interested.
I have just returned, so I'm still catching up in info, $ and skills once again.
*she waves her hand*
Nah, I won't be needing your personnel list, I have complete trust that the diversity of our two groups can fill any gaps in our respective expertise.
*she looks over at the clock on the wall*
I think we have pretty much finished up here, but i do have another proposal for you in the future. In a few days my sister and I will be dispatched on a mission to secure some nomad power cells our security division found while searching for artifacts and other research related objects. When we return we would be glad to have your science team help us examine them and maybe find a new use for them.
Shall I show you the way out, and no, there is no gift shop. *she smiles a bit*
*Loraine smiles and nods once, before her armour shifts slightly, and reassembles itself around her, concealing her body, but the helmet remains down*
I know the way out, but thank you. and thank you for this specimen. If you ever need to contact me or my team, you can reach me either through our official channels, which would be Commander Claire Lelouch, or you can contact me directly using the X-304 power armour you have. We would be honored to join you again at some time, hopefully by that time, our magne- our project will be complete, and you may be able to utilize some of its functions too.
*Loraine's helmet assembles itself around her head, concealing her face*
But i'll leave you to do your thing here. it was a pleasure Dr. Ferrante. and i do hope that you contact us soon.
*Loraine extends her hand for a handshake*
I have just returned, so I'm still catching up in info, $ and skills once again.
The pleasure is mine, I personally can't wait to test out this suit's functions. I'm sure we can replicate some modified versions ourselves for the many different functions the OSD and the primary fleet face individually.
